I am having KiA Rio 2014 having the same issue sometimes car starts after 2 3 seconds but RPM doesn't work at that time then I had to shut off car and then start again till the time RPM starts working.. Also experienced the same..car shuts off while driving...still looking for a solution...I think this is the same issue i have.. بارك الله فيك أخي

Im having issues now. Turns Off if i slow down or idle. It turns back on but the RPM gage doesn’t work until i start the car again later after it’s been turned off.

@@nadiadiaz5601 there's a sensor in the gearbox that counts the rpms, it can be faulty. For the car shutting down, CPK sensor I think

Hi, i think im having problems with this sensor too, idle at starting is high at 1.2k rmp like you show in the video, and the other problem is that i cant get past 4k rpm while driving.. mine is 1.6 2011

Yeah, it was one of the pulleys, the bearing was shot. You can use a mechanic's stethoscope with a metal rod at the end, and put it right on the bolt of each pulley Or you can take off the belt, and turn each pulley, you'll feel the back easily
