Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including the bestseller ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. I agree that the Quran and Sunnah complete the foundation of Islam, but the preservation of Hadith plays an essential role in safeguarding the true teachings of Islam. Without the recorded knowledge of Hadith, there would be a significant risk of new practices or beliefs being falsely attributed to the Prophet (PBUH). This could lead to misconceptions being introduced into Islam, with no way to verify their authenticity. The potential danger is even greater if a ruler or influential person introduced practices for personal gain. The entire nation might unknowingly begin practicing a distorted version of Islam, passing these incorrect practices down to future generations. Without the authentic records of Hadith, no one would have the evidence needed to distinguish right from wrong in these matters. This is one of the greatest blessings of having the knowledge of Hadith-it provides an unbroken, recorded source of the Prophet's teachings from the earliest days of Islam, accessible to every generation, ensuring that the original teachings of Islam remain clear and preserved.

​@@danish_mohammed Alhmadulillah engineer is doing great work.......expecially in regards to sectarianism that exist between muslims.......May Allah make it easy for him.....Ameen and brother, Lets assume youre saying the right thing.....but still sir javed don't have likewise bad opinions about him or any other scholar..... I know some of engineer's students myself and they've good manners......ofcourse exceptions exist Goal shouldn't be to find somebody/some scholar who is perfect.....we all have strengths weaknesses.....rather collect gems of truth from everyone you can...... There will always be conflict of interpretation and understanding. If you feel honestly that somebody is wrong.....feel true empathy and sorrow for them and maybe try to act for their betterment too in some possible way.......instead of bashing others......

Javed Ghamdi is confusing the Message with the Messenger - it's a backdoor way of bringing in hadith literature and equating it with the Qur'an. The fact remains that the Qur'an presents itself as the only source of guidance for mankind. The Qur'an does NOT mention Prophet's sunnah nor suggests we should search around for snippets of information from past generations to obtain guidance from the Prophet. Such ideas are nothing but inventions of past generations of muslims and the cause of strife and mischief amongst people - we are not obliged to follow them blindly. Furthermore, he has no evidence that Prophet Muhammad transmitted “sunnah” or ritual practices such as methods of prayers, fasting or hajj from previous Prophets. On the one hand, he admits that hadith literature is of historical interest, subject to human flaws of transmission, yet much of his argument relies on the very same source as evidence! In reality, Ghamdi picks and chooses hadith that he thinks are authentic and so all the various sects of Muslims. It makes no sense to assume that God would transmit His guidance for mankind through such stories that have been passed on like Chinese whispers. It does nothing but divide muslims over the most trivial matters whilst they call each other kafirs.
