I have a '23 Accord Touring and just want to mention to anyone who's deciding between these cars - the touring tech suite with Google apps and the Bose system is so good that I've never once considered enabling Apple CarPlay again. I prefer the system to anything I've seen in Tesla or Mercedes by far as well. Overall super happy with the car.

2023 Kia K5 received a POOR frontal crash test rating. 2023 Honda Accord received a GOOD frontal crash test rating. Safety ratings are important. Before you buy a car, one of the first questions you should ask is if the vehicle is safe and reliable.

The accord and the K5 are really in the same category. I think the Sonata is the competition to the accord and Camry. The only thing Honda needs for the accord is better tech, a panoramic roof option and some color options in the interior and a more powerful powertrain for those who more performance in the family sedan. Honda is more refined too.

K5 sales were too low in Canada, and now it's being discontinued, which is too bad. It's a good car for a good price.

I’m a Honda guy and I’ve driven both as rentals. I was shocked to find that the Accord seems to feel similar to K5 and that’s not saying that Kia stepped it up. Honda dropped the ball. The Accords CVT is garbage and the interior feels cheap.

That is because you rented a lower trim Accord. The Sport up have excellent interiors.

I've had the 2018, 2021 and now the 2024 Honda Accord Touring. There's a reason why I keep going back to the same vehicle. It just gets better every year out.

The 2024 is just so generic and bland especially the front grill. The 2021 still looks really sharp with sleek, muscular proportions. They should have just updated that a bit, e.g., interior and rear "stapler" brake lights.

The K5 looks stunning, but the Honda is like vanilla ice cream. You can’t knock it. As a person of a certain age, I don’t trust the KIA brand after decades of bad offerings. I’m not their demographic, so that’s fine.

Kia is getting better and better. Remember in the 80's Sony pioneer Panasonic were the brand all Japanese , Samsung was humble as kia today , Samsung was focused in improving,they got it now . Samsung is way better than any electronics devices from Japan Korea takes the crown in that field nowadays,nobody thought they will.

Don’t buy a Kia car it will turn a night mare in loosing high amount of money after driving this car 12000 miles the feature are totally miserable I purchased my Kia k5 2 years ago for 31k now after driving 22k miles car buyers offers 21k which I will loose almost 14k $ including taxes
