This week we have the full electric Kia Niro. A test we have wanted to do in an EV for quite some time is a 'range test' where we push a car to see just how many KM we can get from it.
The claimed range on the Niro EV is 460km (WLTP), however to achieve this there are usually a large number of factors (temperature, driving style, roads etc...).
We drove from Dublin - to Sligo, and back to Dublin which was 420km. We had 53km left when we got back meaning we should have achieved 473km which is more than the claimed range - on top of this, much of the roads we drove were motorway, as well as the outside air temperature being only 15 degrees.
We hope you enjoy the video, as well as learn some eco tips.
Thanks so much for watching.
