Did the niro ev have heads up display?

The 2024 Wave trim does have it in Canada but the USA Wave doesn't have it spec'd on the build and price

It's so interesting the difference in international vehicles. Is it the first time that you'll own an EV?

Omg I didn't know you could push/pull to adjust the steering wheel and show digital speed. This is gonna help me out so much because I have my steering wheel in an uncomfortable position because it was blocking the view of the speedometer... I have this weird thing where I set the lights to OFF but my head lights + low beams would still automatically turn on during the day when I passed by some cloudy spots to work... I tried playing with the light stick but nothing happened.

Glad the video helped you out! The lamps are going to come on automatically in certain circumstances and being somewhere darker is one of those times. Government regulations 🤷

Beware of this EV’s AC charging problem. My 48 amp Juicebox charger has charged a dozen other EVs flawlessly, but refuses to charge this one for more than 5 mins at 11 kW. Niro’s menu offers power increments of 100%, 90% & 60%. At 90%, I got 12 mins of charge before quitting. At 60% or about 6 kW, it charged overnight. I don’t know if it’s incompatibility with Juicebox charger, over heating in onboard Niro charger, or a defect in my Niro rental.

The Niro is rated up to 11 kW for AC charging, the Juicebox 48 amp charger is 11.5kW which is why you have to lower the power increment for it to work. Not a Niro charging issue, just incompatibility with the AC charging current from your home charger
@johnpoldo88173 ай бұрын
@@CarsWithSteve Thank you. But, when AC power was reduced to 90% or 10.35 kW, the EV halted charging within 15 mins. But, at 60% or about 6 kW it worked fine. Does it sound like a vehicle defect?
@CarsWithSteve3 ай бұрын
Reducing to 90% should have been ok.. really odd that it stopped at that point for sure. But I checked out some forum posts with Niro owners saying they have the same issue. Mixed results on a fix, with some having dealers reset software, while others had the charge port replaced. Seems like a heat management issue from the higher power output from chargers above the rated limit. Something I'm going to have to look into the next time I'm in a Niro EV
@johnpoldo88173 ай бұрын
@@CarsWithSteve Yes, 90% should have worked. Until I see it working, I’m staying away from renting Niro’s.

Yeah I don't blame you for that. What other EVs have you rented?
