Kia Optima Damage Repair | Headlight Install

After a minor fender bender we attempt a shade tree mechanic style repair on this 2018 Kia Optima in an effort to save some money. While we wait for additional parts we assess the damage and attempt to replace the broken headlight.

You weren’t wrong when you said “After market headlights are prone to leakage”. I would have added “and fitment issues”. Had this problem with any aftermarket headlight I’ve ever installed. Good luck!

daww you think that is what it is?! they are depo brand headlights which are the same brand i'm running on the 350Z and those have been okay. guess it is hit or miss?

Thanks for watching! They sell Depo brand on Amazon but with the poor fitment issue it is hard to recommend them. If you go with them hopefully you will have better luck.
