It may not be the dynamic match for the GTI but it's certainly better looking.

This is a real warning shot across the bow for the hot hatch establishment. More than any other company with the exception of Kia's sister company Hyundai, no other car company has so significantly stepped up as Kia. The new Proceed GT wins the first battle and that's the fact that it looks stunning. Kia have approached this project with a real deftness of touch that belie their hot hatch inexperience. It's not over done it's just right. A true hot hatch is supposed to be an everything car. The one you use every day and the one you take out on a Sunday morning just for the hell of it. This car for me hits all the bases. In the same way Lexus shook of the Luxury world in 1989 I think Hyundai will shake the world up to.There will I'm sure be more powerful and more extreme versions of this car as seems to be the market demands so Good I say. I like competition it improves the product.

/Dream Car Garage 1 (DCG1) I actually proffer my hot hatches like this. Hot hatches all the way up to the mid 2000s were always all-rounders; inexpensive family cars given a sporty boost that people on modest budgets could easily afford and greatly enjoy. Now we have the likes of the GTC VXR and Megane 265 which are in no way all rounders, being far to harsh for normal roads, and in no way affordable - both costing over £30,000 once specced up with equipment. Even the Golf GTI, one of the best all-rounders, is far too expensive. Costing just shy of £30,000 once given the same equipment levels as the Pro_Cee'd GT Tech. To me, the Pro_Cee'd GT is a Hot Hatch. The VXR and 265 are Super Hatches. I hope Kia starts some kind of trend for inexpensive C-Class Hot Hatches - the car market would be a far more interesting and reachable place for young people like myself.

+Dário Barreiro *>>> I think "App Stock Robot" binary trading system ( App Stock Robot Reviews **po.st/applmobilebot** is much better than "Millionaire Society". Do you know why? This is because, I didn't get expected amount of profit using Millionaire Society. Also, their signals were not good. Those who are new at binary/forex trading, should choose the App Stock Robot. This program will give you right-time notifications on how much money to invest and when to trade. They provide every single detail for getting profit. However, I won't say that you will get hundreds or even thousands of dollar profit in a day; but, you will get a very good amount of profit, if you use App Stock Robot system carefully. You can visit the Official Website of the App Stock Robot at- **po.st/applmobilebot** Get Your 2-Month Trial!!!

This car was developed for the european market, hopefully if it sells well it will get a wider market. Maybe petition Kia to bring it your way..:-)

Auto Trader We have the Pro_cee'd GT in Australia now (released last week). The first country outside of Europe to get the car. I took one for a test drive the other day and was most impressed. Kia Australia did a number of mods to the suspension set up which I beleive will filter down to UK/Europe Céed/Pro_ceed GTs. The car has been getting very good reviews in Australia. Although Kia only calls the GTs warm hatches, 'real' hot hatch manufacturers should ignore Kia at their own peril.
@benanderson8910 жыл бұрын
Mark Coursey The suspension was only modified to suit Australian tastes and road surfaces. Said Mods would probably make it worse to drive on European roads. For Example: In the UK it soaks up bumps and flaws perfectly - but in somewhere like France it glides around their smooth roads with finesse. The Australian mods would probably make it too harsh for England or too squishy for France - or vice versa depending on how they've tweaked the car.

+benanderson89 I know your comment is at least a year old now, but I remember reading an article just recently that Kia have actually decided to use the Australian tune on the updated model just released. We actually have heaps of varying types roads here with how sparse our country is and stiff suspension tunes get heavily criticised. Lots of cars are actually criticised for their suspension tune in reviews (mainly European and American ones which are either too hard or too soft respectively. It's apparently very difficult to find that sweet spot of comfort vs dynamic ability on our crappy roads according to car reviews, which is why Kia, and now Hyundai have employed Australian engineers to do the tuning for all their cars sold here, and why Kia have adopted our suspension tune on the updated proceed GT for some European markets.
