Again, another solid review! As a utilitarian car owner, I am gearing towards buying the LX IVT to replace my second car, a trusty 10-year old (but still very reliable and capable) Mirage. Looking forward to Part 3.

I owned EX variant with 250km in odo, nakaka relax sya e drive dahil ang lambot ng manibela, ang lakas ng AC, ang ganda ng sounds ng head unit at tahimik ang engine. Mataas din ang ground clearance kya no worries sa humps at mga lubak. Responsive din ang makina kya hindi ka bibitinin sa accelaration kung mag overtake at uphill.

Since low and mid variant of Sonet does not have hill start assist, how's the perf of Sonet IVT on hanging/suphill slopes? May sudden rollover po ba? :)

@@yeahitsme237 the Sonet has no 3rd row seat, that's the main difference from the two. If you are considering the two, I'm assuming you need more seating capacity. So let's focus on the two. The SGX has the IVT, a very responsive kind of cvt, really fun to drive. Same technology as what the sonet has. Kaya lang the exterior design might be something way ahead in the future, pero syempre kanya kanyang taste yan. The latest BRV is more pogi for me, but I can't speak of it's driving performance since hindi ko pa yan na test drive. But knowing Honda, in general, their engines need to aspirate to higher rpm to reach it's peak power, as a result, hindi sya as punchy. But again, I'm just assuming. I suggest you go for a test drive yourself since it's your hard-earned money.

@@TeamDyTV i was able to test drive the SGX, i agree on what you have said. responsive nga po talaga yung IVT medjo delay sya ng konti sa arangkada pero di sya underpowered. di ko po na test drive yung BR-V wala po kasing honda dito sa amin pero naging option ko po sya coz i owned a 6 yr old Honda City MT no major issue goods po handling and power yun po naging basis ko and syempre yung looks po ng BR-V kaya napapaisip po talaga ako between the two. Gusto ko lang po talaga mag ka idea sa difference ng CVT(honda) and IVT coz i never tried driving a Honda CVT. thanks po sa reply, Sir.

Not enough to report the fuel consumption with the test drive that we did. I focused on the engine and transmission performance, mostly hataw going up Antipolo, there was heavy traffic on the way back, so that would have been a very low fc if I computed it.
