This is all good. However, looking at the bigger picture, Japanese legacy auttomakers (Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda and the worst hit of the group MItsubishi Motors) have reported profit losses due to decline in their global sales as Chinese automakers like BYD have posted profit gains as a result of an increase in their global sales for the same period. The skeptics can get the data at Japan's NHK News channel.
