The only upside of fortuner is its height n offroading capabilities. Otherwise sorrento 3.5 with a price that is a million pkr lesser than fortuner and with loads of features, good leg room, more comfortable and better interior is the sane choice . Even The awd 2.4 has more features than the fortuner and is 1.5million pkr cheaper.regarding off roading, well, if a kia sportage awd can go to the dangerous northern roads, than so can the 2.4 AWD.

My 2016 Kia Sorento seized on 8/16/19... stopped in the middle of the highway. No lights, no sounds, nothing. Did some investigating and it was out of oil. Just had it changed on 6/7/19. Dealership is refusing to honor the lifetime warranty. Again, no lights, no warning, no nothing. 5.5 quarts of oil went somewhere in two months. Or at least that's what was SUPPOSED to be in there. There are several class action lawsuits pending as well regarding this issue & similar things. Don't be fooled.

No comparison between these two vehicles. Sorento is overpriced vehicle having less capacity and is not SUV but a crossover car. Sorento cannot handle offroad conditions and mostly used in moderate offroad conditions or in urban areas. This car should have priced in 7 million maximum with AWD. It's about 1.5 million more expensive than it's real price. Unlike sportage they launched Sorento with unrealistic price tag which may prove to be downside of them and will not succeed like Sportage did. Since there was no competition in Sportage category so they got good response but here they may be disappointed. With launch of new vehicles Kia KIA Sportage sale will also be affected and they will have to add more features and reduce price. KIA biggest disappointment are Carnivsl and Sorento when it comes to pricing...
