Nice video. I decided for fortuner. But then I saw sorento in showroom. At spot I decided for sorento becoz of more leg space, comfort and more pick. Moreover, shape of sorento is little better than fortuner. I agree with the comparison by Omar arshad.

Fourtuner is a 4 seater suv other 3 seats are absolutely not comfortable but the kia is proper 7 seater. Yes the Fourtuner is a complete off road suv but kia is a more like family van

Sir you’re comparing an apple (Sorento) to orange (Fortuner). I have Kia Sorento 3.5 V6 FWD and its a next level thing. Extreme comfort and drive it has whereas fortuner is a garbage in front of it. I’ve driven fortuner and I felt that it is an under power. When you throttle sorento it goes like a wind whereas fortuner doesn’t.

I find it very interesting that people are comparing(Sorento) a crossover with a mid-size SUV (Fortuner). Sorento is a good car, nice features but is not really 4x4 it's an AWD car. Great review though. But both cars are very different. Plus reliability of Toyota is internationally renowned and unparalleled. Kia has some issues, especially engine and transmission.

I couldn't have agreed more - the goal of doing a comparison was to put this very argument to rest and clear the misconception of Sorento being an SUV (It isn't one by a long shot). Korean & Chinese manufacturers entering the Pakistani market have a long way to go before we can associate them with the reliable tag. Appreciate your input!

if u like naturally aspired engine then Sportage or Sorento is value to money. if u like naturally aspired engine then Sorento is value to money. Naturally aspired engine is good with any type of fuel and its average is better than turbo engines. Turbo engines are not good for our environment because of bad fuel available and fuel average of turbo is very bad. I have Sorento and its simply best. The car is available readily with NO Own money on it Kia has one of the biggest dealership network. Kia has better reSale than any SUV crossover category. Spare parts are available

@@asifmohammed9825 CO emissions of Diesel are lesser than Gasoline, as I had lived in UK they tax engines based on CO emissions and Diesel's tax was 1/3rd of Gasoline (though tax is same now). For your second part, I may not have recommended diesel based on fuel quality as I know modern diesel engines have high pressure pumps and if quality is bad injectors get clogged, but Euro 5 standard has started selling and on top High Cetane started getting available too, at least from PSO pumps as I just observed last week at Bahria Town Safari Blocks (Rawalpindi) PSO pump.

Pakistan is now moving towards Euro 5 standard diesel which is actually more efficient and environmentally friendlier than patrol. PSO has moved to Euro 5 standard diesel since January 2021. Govt is trying it’s best to move entire industry to Euro 5 standard because carbon emissions are very low and will help environment a lot.
