Yeah. Here (USA) you have to get lucky; a hwy that has traffic stopped miles ahead; go faster than anybody else, so nobody's behind you, and you have the road to yourself. Then you can play. My Stinger's NAV "led me" to the venue I've just described. I think NAV (the name of my car) is a pooka! :D:D:D I took full advantage, and got her up to 155mph.

AND THE DUMB BASTERDS DISCONTINUED THE STINGER. I HAVE A 2019 STINGER GT1 & I LOVE IT & IN SPORT MODE IT'S SICK. THE PICKUP IS REDICULOUS. BUT I GUESS THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN KIA HIRES AUDI ENGINEERS & MECHANICS TO BUILD THIS PUPPY. THEY SCREWED UP FIRST BY PUTTING A 4 CYLINDER IN IT. THAT WAS A FKN SIN. AND NOW ITS TOTALLY GONE. REALLY A COLLECTORS ITEM ALREADY.

And to think that this is powered by a Hyundai engine is phenomenal. I love my 2018 HiChroma Red AWD Kia Stinger GT Limited. I still get compliments on it on a regular basis, two years after it came to market. The only mod I did to it was to put a Borla S-Type Cat-Back exhaust on it, in order to hear the actual engine and not the fake synthetic pumped one in the audio system.

I really do love this car. Never thought I'd say that about a Kia, but yup, I do. Well done Kia. I do hope they release a more powerful version, though. I just cannot see myself trading down in hp from my current car, and as fast as the Stinger V6 is, it's still "only" 365 hp or thereabouts. The Stinger needs a 500+ hp version too. I bet you anything that the chassi can handle it.

The video is very deceiving.Based on the factory speedometer he was doing 167.77 mph which looked much slower but was really not too bad at all.A cat back with some fresh air intakes and a chip would make this thing absolutely fantastic.All that adds up to an extra 42 rwhp when tuned !

Mat4SA How so? It's clearly to make it seem like it's accelerating like crazy. My speedometer shows 160 km/h in the middle and goes up to 260 while the top speed of the car is 240, each mark is consistent with 20 km/h between steps. This goes from 10 between 0-100, 20 between 100-180 and 30 between 180-300. Audi and others make the same thing to make you feel like it's faster than it really is. Now tell me again how I'm the dumb one?

Notice how the speedometer is designed. From 0-100 km/h it's graduated in increments of 5 km/h, after that it's 10 km/h increments. And this is a stock Stinger, with "only" 365 hp. Don't expect 100-200 km/h times of a 1000 hp car.

@@AlainHubert what are you talking about? I wasnt expecting acceleration like 1000 hp, but i was expecting a little better top end. 365 hp is no slouch, especially as aerodynamic as the stinger is. My stock 280hp g35 seems faster after 120.

IMO the thing that Stinger have a lot of spare room under the hood even with v6 makes me believe they'll do a stronger version of gt, probably with v8 in mind. It will fit well there.
