which pin is the green wire. i dont wanna cut the wrong thing lol

I am not sure if anyone else does this but, to build boost using launch control, I hold the break a little lighter than full force down to allow the back tiers to spin on my AWD Stinger.

Does this brake boost technique work on a roll? I get it works at idle but what about rolling 40+
@prvideos82295 жыл бұрын
Khalifa Lora I never used it from a roll, but it might work. From a roll you are already at boost so I don’t really see a use for this from a roll unless you had big turbos. The oem turbos are small there is really no need to use this from a roll. It really works amazing from dead stop.
@KhalifaLora5 жыл бұрын
@@prvideos8229 Trust me bro, you would definitely want to brake boost on a roll with those stock small turbos. If this switch work on a roll, then I'm telling you you'll feel a kick. I've already tested the car at roll on D vs having it engaged in a gear like 1st gear. The launches were magnificently different, you could feel the turbo lag launching it at a gear compared to having it on D it would launch on Point!. So building up boost by brake boosting on a roll would be LOCO! (CRAZY)
@ruizhector324 жыл бұрын
Khalifa Lora I heard about that leave it on D but I feel like it’s slower because if you floar it on D you have to wait until it down shift for you right?

@@KhalifaLora can you please explain how launching in drive instead of using the paddles on a roll launches harder? You just floor it?

Do you have a video of you testing it out?

Hey bro unrelated question but I recently bought a JB4 and I'm wondering if you think running map1 with downpipes and 91 octane is safe and doable without having to change the Sparks plug. I know I've heard a couple people do it but only for a few hundred miles. I'm just curious what your take on this is, also do you think I'd be able to run map2 smoothly with the same setup? Someone told me map2 is only for 93 octane
@prvideos82295 жыл бұрын
I will be honest with you. At a minimum you need to gap your oem spark plugs to .024-.026. Even for the JB4 on map 1 I highly recommend you get 1 step colder denso spark plugs ikh24 and gap them to .024. You can run map 2 on 91 octane but you need to review your own logs and see if timing is being pulled. Otherwise I would stick with map 1 on 91 octane but if your logs look fine on map 2 then you can run map 2 daily. From personal experience I blew 2 plugs and they were denso ikh24 and ended changing my plugs to 2 step colder to ikh27. I personally would not cut corners on the spark plugs. The stinger is an expensive car and for $60 bucks you should not take the risk. If you keep your oem plugs and you blow one and the tip breaks off and falls in the engine you will cause severe engine damage and aka you will be fucked. That’s the worst case scenario the More common scenario is people blow the plugs and coil packs. For that you will need to warranty at the dealer and have to remove all your aftermarket parts which is a pain. I strongly reccomend you get the plugs and I made a video on installing plugs it’s pretty easy with some basic tools.

@@prvideos8229 cool man thanks for your help, the $60 for Spark plugs weren't the issue the problem was paying someone $220 to install lol that's quite a bit. But I guess I'll get it done to be on the safe side of things I just wanted to know if map1 on OEM plugs were doable
@LeJunny5 жыл бұрын
@@prvideos8229 I would do it myself but I don't want to mess anything up so instead I'll just pay someone who's done it multiple times. I saw your video and was surprised by how many parts I need to get thru just to get access to the plugs
@prvideos82295 жыл бұрын
GTStung Albert I personally would not run a JB4 on stock plugs but if you want to take the risk is on you. To gap the plugs you have to take them off so you might as well put new ones in. Denso ikh24 1 step colder plugs.
