I have the same exact truck. My complaints… 1-the interior plastic (especially the black) gets scratched and marred easily. Be careful with your Shopvac! 2-it tends to shift oddly at times. 3-the radio stays on until you open the drivers door when you turn the car off. 4-once you realize that the wheels look like a buncha hearts….that’s all you will ever see when you look at the wheels! Besides that, great truck!

Resently leased 2020 SX telluride dark Moss ,grey leather,captains seats second row, with painted pinstripes, running boards cargo mat and security shade,came from a Lincoln MKX. THE TELLURIDE out performs the Lincoln in design,craftmanship and performance.One Note ,the security shade can be stored in the compartment under the storage area by removing the cover where the jack and tools are located and sliding down the small window to access more space to accommodate the length of the shade.I love mine ,happy motoring

Got my telluride Sx prestige model in Michigan about a month ago because the gm of Summit Kia had ordered one that was cancelled on the day that I was there. I have about 700 miles on it and I love it.Pearl white with black wheels look great

GM missed the boat on the third row seat access button on the second row set back rest. I believe Ford is on board. And for the luxury trim of this vehicle, the new Cadillac xt6 I believe looses to the Kia Telluride, the XT6 start out @ just over $53k, and the Telluride starting price is somewhere around $38,996k depending on what trim level you get.

I want the SX but it seems like it's slim pickings at dealerships right now. The SX is almost exclusively in Dark Moss with black or gray interiors. I want the SX in Gravity Grey with Grey Nappa leather or Black Copper with Dune Brown leather. I can't find either of these choices even in a nationwide search. I know these are still just a few weeks old and still hitting dealerships, and they're very popular. But I'm wondering how many months I'll have to wait for the vehicle I actually want and if I'll have to just order it. By the time it becomes available, the new Explorer's will probably be out and they may steal my business!

I love kia vehicle I'll buy this telluride if it comes to Malaysian shores, just one thing why even the latest kia does not use the sensor or what ever it is that the japanese use for the door handle, kia still using the old fashion button to unlock the door.

The door handle button isn't too impressive, a lot of new cars have a sensor on the back. But I think Kia nailed it even though they were late to the party just like BMW, and Hyundai.

I just joind the Telluride Family today, love the car... got the Gravity gray really wanted white then though of the dirt showing and changed my mind...I chose to lease this vehicle. This will be my first lease had to trade a 2009 Honda Odyssey in with value dropping like rock and payment to be made for 26 more months...throwing good money after bad. It Worked out great because I less then 2k of negative equity. I was able to lower my car insurance by 1600 dollars just by switching to different company same day as I went into the dealer not expecting my payent to jump up 250 dollars on top of my old payments but that did include the wear and tear and wheel and rim replacement package since each rim is 1300 to replace and the Perrilli tires are a grip so totally worth it so it's more like a lateral move from one vehicle to another being free of car with needed repairs of about 3500 hundred ….Anyway I love the ride and the interior.

I ended up buying the EX even though I thought I'd like the captains chairs more. The S trim the dealer had was almost the same price of the EX trim I got. The SX trim comes in at about 8-10K more which I couldn't justify. I'm glad I went with the EX over the S, because I get the better electronics package (10.2" screen vs 8") and the driver cluster screen is bigger with more info. The "S" give you 20" wheels vs 18" on the "EX", but 20" wheels give you a harder ride (even though they look cooler)- so for me the 18" wheels were fine. I struggled with the not having the captains chairs but really it's like one of those things I really didn't end up missing. There are advantages to the bench because you have the ability to sit 1 more person. Consider the situation where you have 5 people riding but need to keep the 3rd seat folded because you have a lot of cargo in the back.

Yeah of course! So the EX is one trim level above the S. For some reason the EX has smaller rims and they are ugly. The EX just has a few more features than the S like wireless charging. The main reason I picked the S is because my wife wanted captain seats and the S & SX are the only models with captain seating. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

I don't understand the trim layout either. My wife like the heart shape wheel on S, but she want the SX features. We were told that the S wheel is not an option on SX.

EX has great upgrades however couldn't get past the 18" rims. Went with the S and the 20" rims fit the vehicle better in my opinion. I wish the S had remote start though.

Nice review bro and I have a question what made you pick the S over the lx like the features and ect because I'm trying to decide on the Telluride or 2019 Hyundai Santa fe limited in lava orange both drove great and price is a 1 to 2k difference and warranty here in pa the Hyundai 20yr 200mi and the Kia lifetime warranty for powertrain and no kids it's just a hard decision lol.

Your screen is 10.25". Nappa leather only comes with the Prestige package. I work for a Kia dealership in GA, not far from where they are made We sold our last two today

I LOVE this car! I never buy new because of the severe depreciation. Does that part bother you about losing about half the value in 2-3 years? Did you consider waiting and saving for a used one next year?

I never buy new either but that's the only way to get the 10 yr warranty. Otherwise you get half the warranty. And the 21s will be higher priced so you won't save as much as you think on a 20, you may be able to snag one for 25k in 2 yrs but it will have 30k-40k miles (about 15-20% of the cars life) used but my that time I will have made 5k towards the principal and we would be close in LTV but I have 10 yr warranty. Something to think about

Did you buy or lease? I love the telluride but an sx lease is way north of $500. Yeah it’s super nice and all but you could get a Highlander for less and it will hold its value way better than a telluride and you have a great chance of making money on the back end of the lease. Also I have two Hyundai’s one is a lease currently.

dpaisley325 the acceleration is perfect. Especially when in sport mode. Even in eco mode it does well. The ride is very smooth and refined. I’m not sure on the 0-60 time. No hesitation that I have seen. It’s a well made car and everything flows from the way it drives and looks. Just the complete package. Thanks for the view.

I've driven a couple of EX models (smaller wheels than the S) - it's smooth, refined, very quiet. Turns well. It's not "floaty" or anything. It impressed the hell out of me. Body roll is minimal for something of this size.

Remote start via app on phone. Unlike other brands, the app for connecting to your vehicle is free. I would prefer remote start to be on the key fob but you get a lot of other nice features in the app for free so it's a wash for me.
