Kiambu politicians allied to Odinga's Azimio coalition shift loyalty to President William Ruto

Led by former Governor James Nyoro, they congratulated Ruto and Gachagua on their August 9 win and pledged to support the government's agenda.
The politicians were fiercely opposed to Ruto presidential candidate, in favour of Raila Odinga.
