nah those are carbon steel pans. basically same concept of caring for and seasoning the pan, but much thinner. still a little heavier than the average pan though

Is he the only one making these omurices?? All the flipping, and cooking, holding a heavy-ass pan, and entertaining his customers. His arm must hurt in all of those hard work. Still don't know why he is so underrated. If i won the lottery i'll help him upgrade his restaurant and help him hire chefs so he can teach them how to cook his masterpiece omurice.

Mr. Grossie There are other restaurants that sell omurice in Kyoto as well such as Omurahouse and Grill Fukuya. Just that Kichi Kichi Omurice is more well known because Chef Motokichi loves to entertain his customers with his cooking, which explains his popularity as a chef. I do agree with you that he is underrated but I guess his recent appearance in Buzzfeed’s video where he taught Andrew how to make the famous omelette made him much more popular now

Chef Motokichi’s omelette is kind of expensive (and it worths). His restaurant is the most popular one in Kyoto and attract a lot of customers.. I think this little place is good for him to show his cooking way and entertaining the customers.

I've been here, and tbh the omurice isn't really tasty for me. It was still a good experience though.
