Something people seem to be missing - look at how the dynamic between them changes after the phone call. Chris starts like a kid, trying to impress his uncle, who's cold and collected. During the call, you can see Uncle Ralph's eyes looking into Chris' like he's saying 'This ain't a videogame kid, this is real life - and it's scary' But then Chris puts the phone down, gathers himself for a minute, and changes, his body language and his eyes are different, more like his uncle's, who seems surprised by the transformation, raising his voice and becoming more animated as Chris leaves. He expected Chris to cry and drop the idea of being a villain, instead he just killed the naivety which was holding him back.

To be fair what Ralph was trying to do was to show Chris that him putting on a costume and doing petty crimes was just child’s play compared to how real criminals act as a way to discourage him by making him look inferior next to the real thing, but it had the opposite effect. Chris felt motivated by this and so decided that rather than just killing Kickass he would make his life a living hell before doing so by going after his loved ones, similar to how Ralph got rid of Javier, who Chris considered the only family he had left.

Uncle Ralph ordered the hit beforehand. BUT if Chris had said I'm fone with this line of work, Javier would be alive. Chris obviously wants to continue the family business. You can see irony here too. By killing Javier, Uncle Ralph thought I'm dettering my nephew from this line of work by showing him just how cutthroat it is. But the opposite happens, the evil from the uncle is passed on to the nephew. The lesson taught is that you either slaughter, or grt slaughtered yourself. Chris wants to be the killer, not the one killed.

If they ever do a kick-ass Anthology series they should definitely talk about a fan-made hero I created called bloody Justice. He is the son of an NYPD police officer who was best friends with Damian McCready and he used to be his he was killed by Ralph D'Amico which explains why he's in The Slammer at the moment put Ralph was unaware that the cop he killed has a son so because of his obsession with superheroes young Mark Calaway created a superhero costume out of steel and Kevlar he made the costume entirely to resemble his father's uniform and he also carried his father's badge as a reminder of what an honest cop his father was. He carries around a cattle prod however he painted it black to resemble his father's nightstick. And at first he wanted to kill Frank D'Amico because he pissed the whole thing together that it was his father's Superior Gigante who gave him up over the fact that his father was investigating a drug bust and discovered that Gigante was involved with drugs the same type of drugs that the D'Amico crime family has. But when he discovered that Frank D'Amico was killed by Kick-Ass he went on to idolized Kick-Ass because not only did he Avenged countless families he also Avenged this young man's father. That is why he continues to be known the superhero Bloody Justice. But he was also inspired by hit girl as well because they both wanted the same thing to go against Frank D'Amico to ensure their parents never died in vain. Nowadays Mark has been searching for Hit Girl and eventually he does find her during a fight he was involved in and they continue to work together as partners but on the other hand they became close friends

Everyone jokes about him being a better Alfred than Bruce. But I really like him as Batman. And this scene helps see that. This from his Bruce Wayne it's 2 completely different people. It's funny how the last person you'd expect to play Bruce Wayne actually plays a better Bruce than the one we got in Crisis. And he was played by Kevin fucking Conroy. That says something. Chris' actor is really good at the end here too. I wish he really went with the dark shit after this point. Like yeah he went kinda dark but I mean like fucking joker level dark. He didn't even kill kick ass' dad on his own. I feel like that would've added some real impact to his villain character.
