Fun fact:- This movie first meant to be made with Ajay devgn and Srk in lead. Buy ajay had some prior commitment and Srk wanted to play karan's role but director refused. Then director offered this movie to Aamir and Salman. Aamir rejected it, and as soon as Srk found out that salman doing this movie he called the director that I'm doing this movie.

So fun trivia about this movie during the making of this film.. Salman Khan would cater the food for the actors and it was usually kabobs and biryani. Amrish Puri was a very disciplined actor especially when it came to health, he had a strict sechedule and he really enjoyed simple home cook meals. So during lunches when they would gather they would tease Amrish Puri and say eat this why are you eating boring food (his lunchs were daal and roti and other homemade dishes. He would say I need to preserve my voice but he would take a bite of the food just to be polite. He was extremely respected amongst everyone and he was a mentor to many actors
