I only watch professionals and you are one. I have watched you for some time now and there is something thing about how you go about your business. You enjoy it but it brings in the bucks. Trapping is so rewarding and the effort put in for the big blanket is the icing on the cake. From a uk trapper.

I have had beavers disappear all of a sudden most of the time it was a creek going through a cornfield and the corn got picked! the next common denominator was the lack of a feedpile. Trap shy beaver I have a story about that!

Could you do a video of how you find bank dens? I'm sure there are new trappers that could use all the info they could take, myself included in that. If you could also say why, you think there's a den there would be very helpful. Thanks for the informative videos btw.

Snares in the runs or footholds in the spring will catch them

What does the swivel stick do?

When you set the trap in the run like a flag pole style the other side can swivel (think of a flag flapping in the wind). The swivel stick stabilizes the other side from moving or rotating around.
