R.I.P. Rob Salazar. He was a great ring warrior who gave both Alexio and Wilson the toughest fights of their careers.

Rob was my father and he will be greatly missed. We believe he had to lose this fight to grow as a fighter. In his career he proved that he should not be underestimated.

@@curtissalazar1929 Thank you very much for your input. People with the right mind wouldn't underestimate your father since Don Wilson had to squeak a split decision to take your father's title away and gave no rematch. The same with Alexio. They never fought again. That tells how tough your father was. Yes, your father fought other such greats as Brad Hefton. My deepest condolences to your father.

@@curtissalazar1929 I only recently heard of your father's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad and I trained together at Olympic and boxed in Glendale Heights. He was also my manager and a great guy. He treated me like gold and I will never forget him. You are truly blessed to have had him as your father. He was known as a real standup guy.

That Foot padding seems to slow the down. Wonder why they didnt makem tighter around the foot like a sock fit or something?
