The airline did the right thing. People bring their own food on board these days. People with severe nut allergies can't expect 100+ passengers to worry about any morsel of food they eat and whether it contains nuts.

I’m fine never having a peanut on a plane if it means people with allergies can fly safely. I’ll eat them when I get back on the ground.

They should serve fruit. Most people are not allergic to fruits. Like give an apple or pear banana grapes. Nuts corn soy dairy seafood can be dangerous for some. Fruits are very neutral. Most human bodies respond well to fruits. Esp organic fruits.

I can't eat nuts on a plane but you can put a cat/dog next to people with allergies 🤔 ???

How do people with deadly peanut allergies go anywhere? Grocery stores, offices, public spaces you got a kid with peanut butter cookies, an adult who just ate honey roasted and touched something you might touch, you can't police the world to cater to yourself. I know a family who has an autistic son who won't eat lunch or snacks with peanuts.

Being autistic is not the same as being deathly allergic 😂😂
