Reebok Answer 3 White And Black - Not Quite Like The OG

Well, here it is! One of the most anticipating releases of this year and all went down in flames like Hindenburg. The Answer lll is my favorite Iverson model of all time and especially this White and Red colorway, and even the White and Black, but Reebok did these ones dirty and there is not much positive to be mentioned here...

They look so fresh outta the box. I gotta say, despite my disappointment, the retro is decently comfy once I broke them in. Can’t substitute the lack of DMX though 😢

These shoes are still 🔥 I just got the black ones and they feel good on the feet and still look just as good as they did back in the day. I had these White and black ones when they originally released and they were my favorite shoes of all time, and I couldn't be happier that I have the opportunity to purchase these again. Reebok obviously ain't what they once were, and it wouldn't make sense from a business standpoint for them to go all out on their retros for whats likely such a small market at this point. Hopefully Reebok can eventually rebuild as a brand so we can continue to get dope retros decades down the line, but being overly critical and negative these releases aint gonna help them gain any traction

I got these about a month ago. Wore these in YMCA basketball in 5th grade. Purchased purely out of nostalgia knowing full well I wouldn't wear them hardly at all. Immediately out of the box I knew something was off and I've not seen these in person since I was a youngster. Don't hate these retros given my intent to purchase but was a bit let down getting these out the box 😕

These were my favorites to hoop in and rock casually back in the day (the all black colorway, too) so I'm also really disapponted (surprising the quality is so bad since the new court victory retros and the Shaq x victory hybrids are excellent with thick, genuine leather)... luckily I have an OG pair I found on eBay a few years ago (along with the white/maroon colorway) that are still in surprisingly decent shape so I'll wait to cop these and the all blacks when they go on clearance just to have a fresh pair, but hopefully Reebok shows this model the love it deserves the next time it retros, whenever that will be (not holding my breath since this retro took forever!).

Disappointing to hear, I really wanted to pick up this colorway. Debating whether I should pick these up or wait and see if they release a collaboration with better materials like they did with the Shaq Attaqs.

​@@the.dove.effect "DMX foam" is a blatant gimmick They just slap the DMX name to some regular foam and call it a day, even though its completely unrelated to DMX technology Balloons at a childs birthday party are more related to DMX technology than DMX foam is

Y have the red and white answer 3 its the same feel prety cheap (but really light and comfy) but y m pretty sure the Will note live alf a life of à jordan kicks :( Don t get me wrong y really like the answer 3 / the question mid /and all the IVERSON kicks reebok made but the really schould work on real leather and premium quality (but not for 400 bucks ! !!!!!) And MR @reebok you really have to bring out (IVERSON 'varsity jacket or schaq s one in the Last promo on yt = forgot the name )

Im gonna be honest The state of sneaker craftsmanship is so ×××ing poor right now, that the Reebok Answer IIIs are still BETTER MADE than Jordans and Nikes Im serious, I have the red pair that came out last month It sucked for a Reebok product because im used to Reebok going above and beyond on the leathers...but it was still better than Jordan and Nike Wierd world folks, very wierd

You're right about the craftsmanship not being what it once was, even with Jordans, the difference is that people will still wear Jordans just to be associated with the brand. I have the black Answer 3s and honestly they feel more premium and are way more comfortable on foot than my 2022 Playoff 12s

what happens with reebok? increasingly worse materials, worse pumps, and let's not talk about sole technology.... It is an emblematic model, so they would have used Premium materials, anyway...

@@kicksreason That's true, but if they don't pamper their old-school customers with quality, who know how to differentiate quality from garbage, we will gradually move to the competition. By the way, I have like the ones in the video but red and white, and they are terrible, they look like they are from a flea market because of the materials, apart from that 3D is very uncomfortable and unstable, now I'm afraid to buy again 🤦‍♂️

Que pena tener en las manos un prroducto así. Para ti y para mi es muy decepcionante que quieran jugar con nuestra nostalgia. Reebok debería desaparecer ya que tristeza. Los jugadores representantes como Shaq y Allen deberían exigir materiales premium y sobre todo revivír dignamente Hexalite y DMX.
