You know its interesting, the success stories on Kickstarter are usually pretty cut and dry. Good people with good ideas and the experience to do it well. Everyone is happy and they continue making good projects and other products later in life. The bad kickstarters are the ones with a well deep of scamming people on and off the internet and usually lots of damages and money lost in their wake. The greed and ill-will of people especially as it comes to light and spills into kickstarter is crazy.

Because Valve does not give one single shit about the state of their platform. All they care about is cashing in the 100$ per developer to sell their games, then the percentage off the profit. They have zero regard for quality control or professionalism and are perfectly content allowing people to sell downright scams and/or game that exist solely as an excuse to exploit the trading cards system as a get-rich-quick scheme. If they're perfectly willing to allow games that promote hate speech and persecution of minorities on their storefront, therefore profiteering off of it, you bet your ass they don't care about monitoring, let alone punishing devs wishing harm on people. Hell, Valve themselves have made a public statement saying they will literally allow anything on their platform as long as it doesn't break the law, which by the way, has been shown repeatedly to be a lie seeing as they have banned perfectly legal porn games (or even non-porn games that showed too much nudity for their liking), particularly LGBT+ themed ones it seems (meanwhile, games that break copyright law or of otherwise dubious legality take far longer to be banned, if they ever are). The only other way I've heard of games being banned on Steam is if they directly insulted Gabe Newell. So there you have it, the entirety of Steam's standards: no porn and no being mean to Gabe. Feel free to be mean to everyone else, though. What I'm trying to say is, I'm not shocked that Steam is okay with this. In fat, I would have been shocked if they had done something about it.

As someone who has gone through the whole eviction process, in California: It isn't that expensive, a few hundred dollars, and judgement will grant permission to garnish income sources and liquidate assets. Those we had to evict did not have such assets or incomes, and thus being 'judgement proof' allowed them to be real dicks.... Seriously, never let a 'family member of a friend' stay with you if you live in California. PS: This was years ago, they refused to even look for work and any money they scammed off others was spent on drugs. They needed to go so we could repair the damage they had done to the property and use it for our own family.... Summons: If the name on the summons isn't present at the address it may be left with another individual residing at said address or even taped to the door. There are also ways to 'post summons' through news-papers, mail, and even by sticking the notice to the doors of the courthouse itself! Almost as if the courts had to deal with this sort of stuff in the past and decided they wouldn't reward such behavior going forward.

I worked for T-Mobiles Tech Support. Every Day I had People threaten me that they work Home Office and if "I" dont fix their Internet ASAP they loose X-amount of € per Day and will sue "us". We've been taken to the cleaners by jerks like them too many times.

How is it even possible to refuse to pay rent? I don't know how it works over there, but here in Sweden, if you refuse to pay anything, be it rent or any other service by contract, you'll get a payment issue with the debt collection agency (Kronofogden). If you still refuse they'll come to your residence and take your belongings until they've covered the debt.

As a nearly lifelong resident of this state, I could not agree more. I don't get how squatters even have rights of any kind; if they're occupying a legally owned domicile without permission for any length of time, it should be illegal and their court ordered punishments should scale with the amount of time they were squatting and how much damage to the property they've done during that time. Imagine if there were similar laws for vehicle theft or grand larceny; steal what you can get away with, then simply wait until an arbitrary amount of time has passed and you get to keep it. That's just mind boggingly stupid to think about.

Personally I prefer the SNES version, just because the extra buttons make it a slightly better experience, but yes, I'm always down to play either version because it's such a great game. Honest question, do you like ROM hacks? If you do, Google "Oh no! More Zombies Ate My Neighbors!" (if you don't already know about it...) because it's essentially a massive level pack for ZAMN that's really well made and fun.

Dargonhuman has to be played on the 6 button controller aha, but the sound card on the SNES just lacks the punch on the end of level sound effects with that weird wobbly sound than a crisp snap, and I feel like some of the tracks like the boss track (chainsaw hedge maze mayhem etc) sounds really bad on the SNES compared to the megardrive, as well as the chainsaw effects sounding terrible 🙈 but granted it’s still playable and an awesome game, might just be my own nostalgia but it feels heretical to play it on anything else haha

@@BD-cs3fj That's funny because my own nostalgia growing up with the SNES version says the opposite haha - I feel like the wider range of the SNES sound channels give the soundtrack more depth and the Genesis one sounds more shallow (though it does have a crisper sound, I will agree with that) which I like better. Both versions are great, though, and which one is "better" seems to be a completely subjective matter of personal preference, so if you prefer the Genesis version, I'll respect that and I'd even pick up a Genesis controller and play it with you if the opportunity presented itself.

I'm a bite late to the party, but does anybody (Slope, help!) recognize the game in the intro montage at 00:42? The art style jumped out at me and I'm interested in figuring out what it is. Also, general suggestion, if there's going to be game montages in intros, a brief text blurb of what's in the montage would be super helpful. These preview a lot of games and while my Google-fu is pretty strong, there's a lot of these I simply can't figure out and I imagine I'm not alone.

OMG I want most of those indie pixel art titles that were showing in the background at the beginning of the video! I don't know what most of them are though! I recognize messenger and 198x but that's it. Any ideas chaps? I like the zelda looking one and there was one that looked kinda Stardrew ish.
