A Dad n 2 lads. Wow... rural America + the mom behind the scenes. I was this kid when I was young, but my dad never had the time for this stuff. For me it was self discovery. Does my heart good to see this. That little AJ, you just want to scoop that lad up and give him a big hug he is so precious. These films restore my belief in core America. I had to run away form it 54 years ago because I lived in California at the beginning of being unliveable. Brotherly love to the whole family there from Australia.

My grandson will be 5 on Sept 23 & him & i have been watching you Jack & seeing him watch you an take everything in his brain. We live in northern NH & winters get very cold here, but we are gonna start a little greenhouse on my 3 season porch & try to grow somethings over the winter & he's excited cuz he wants to grow some huge pumpkins & watermelons in the the spring of 2024. Keep doing what you do Grow Jack & know you have inspired my 5 yr old grandson & that makes my heart full. I think I am more excited for Jack and for watching his excitement and dad building Jack's confidence and self-esteem than Jack is. Jack's excitement is obvious and such a powerful life lesson/builder!! First of all Jack Congratulations, you should be really proud of yourself; job well done. So when you had the flywheel off and you were cleaning the magnets underneath, that's called a "stator" because it remains stationery (doesn't move), and the flywheel is the "rotor," because it spins. When the magnets meet it creates a magnetic field and produces electricity to charge your battery and run your lights. A rock crawler is usually a SLOW machine because it needs torque ( twisting action) to climb over rocks and obstacles. Changing the size of the pulleys from the engine to the pulley over the transaxle will either give you more torque, or speed depending on the size. Like gears on a bike. Good luck Jack I'll be watching.

Awesome job Jack! Be sure to wear a helmet when you take that thing rock crawlin'. And any other safety equipment you might have from BMX biking. Get a little trailer to pull behind it and will be the perfect little tractor for the watermelon patch.

Grow Jack your an amazing young man. Anything you think you can do you can. When my son was 13 he bought an old lawn mower for $20.00 in the middle of the night he got it running and went on to use it to cut grass for neighbors. Oh he didn't have a gas feed so he used fishing line for gas line. But it worked so he used it. Good Luck also Dutch and Daniel sent me over.
