In canada we were called sparks, brownies, girl guides and pathfinders. I was the number 1 seller every year. At that time we sold cookies door by door. My mom drove me to diffrent neighborhoods. It took hours. I had a sick and disabled father, which meant everything depended on her. My mom had 3 kids to manage. My parents couldn't afford the activities that I wanted to pursue. But they put me in the ones they could afford. And they put the time in. The only prize was #1 cookie seller! But the real prize I gained was the knowledge that my parents would go beyond to support and encourage me!
