Kid Rocks breakout album Devil Without a Cause was recorded at the same time, and same studio as Eminem’s The Slim Shady LP. It was definitely an interesting time for music. I really wasn’t into Kid Rock or Eminem at the time, and I’m still not really into them, but there impacted on music going forward was definitely worth observing. I'm just seeing/hearing this for the first time now (saw it on Netflix documentary and then on KZbin). I'm 63 years old and totally missed out on this kind of music because of my lifestyle at the time it was made. This performance is absolutely electrifying and mesmerizing. All involved (Kid Rock, drummer, guitarists, etc.) were really into it. I have watched it over and over.
