Cool song...ain't too many things better than a Tennessee mountaintop...lived in Chattanooga for years and spent many a beautiful day on Signal and Lookout Mountains...sitting on a rock ledge a thousand feet up and nothing around but the wind, trees and animals...I'll take that over city living ANY DAY.

I like this song better when I heard it the first time......when it was called Rockstar by Nickleback.
@seangillooley5957 жыл бұрын
Um a song about excess of a rock star vs basically the downside of what he thought Fame was gonna be like in Cowboy it's a very smart song ,nothing like rock star...this isn't full song and got cleaner lyrics
@TheAxe4Ever7 жыл бұрын
I was actually talking about the chord progression, much of the melody of the vocals, the cadence of the vocal line and the tempo. Not the meaning of the lyrics.
@skinnyredneck1807 жыл бұрын
Who the fuck cares? It's still an original song. Fucking nickleback does own patents on chord progressions

Why the hell would he only choose 1 style if he can do them all? He has the talent for it. More money. More diverse fans. I like rap, classic HM, southern rock, and stripped down classic country. He's the jack of all trades. Hank 3 does all sorts of music too. I don't understand why you think an artist should just do one style, just certain types of songs/music when they can literally do it all. I listen to everything that is well-written and real. Nickel back is boring. They do the same shit almost every album.

Kid Rock has got one helluva joke doesn't he. "My parents were Millionaires with an orchard and ya know I made it BIG cause I had to pull myself up by the boot straps..." LOL how funny and delusional he is.
@jrneobliviscaris7 жыл бұрын
Jay Test Have you seen the guy live? Really quite impressive. Serious musicians, no computerized vocal deceptions, a well-chosen and stylistically broad set list, and genuine doses of respectfulness, irreverence, and, evidently, the overarching will to astonish naysayers by giving a memorably great performance. Twice now I've see him play benefit shows where most in the crowd were there as participants in a cause, not particularly to see him. Each show ended with the exiting throngs babbling in astonishment at how good the show was. Kid Rock live is a universal good. Can't help but feel sorry for you, seeing as how wildly out of phase with reality your comments are.
@jaytest18447 жыл бұрын
@jfOblivious - When you have had $Millions$ all your life surrounded by 'great ones' yes you will probably become GOOD maybe even GREAT and Oh my I hate calling this old ugly man a kid (rather call him a boi) but perhaps kRock is those things great/good but those $millions$ gave him access, gave him opportunities and ASSURANCE that meant he NEVER EVER had to 'bull himself up by the bootStraps' - Really I've listened to many of his interviews and I always Always ALWAYS after hearing him think "This guy is clueless about the 'avg citizen'" I mean REALLY 70% of American Citizens are paid LESS THAN $20 an hour (far from comfortable) and this MILLIONAIRE ALL HIS LIFE from baby to old man says "Oh I speak for them" is just sickening in so many ways

"fall in love w/an angel & youll wind up in california"...??? LMAO thats his way of regretting the time he spent w/Pamela Anderson....who he dumped bc she made a racial slur against him sons mother!!(who's black) great that his career is still on fire...he"s an A lister & she's only gettin press for pallin w/ J. Assange in a grubby 3rd world embassy.. was never a PA hater but will always KID ROCK!!!

She cheated on him with Tommy Lee,Lee bragged about it in text then kid beat his face in
@darcyann667 жыл бұрын
He actually left her because Pamela Anderson talked crap about His mother and sister in front of his son. His mom and sister helped raise RJ while he was out on the road. He also got a call from Pamela saying she had a miscarriage when she was on a film set in france or Italy and he chartered a plane flew there and he found her dancing on a table at some local pub. .This was ALL in interviews he did on tv. There were also pics of her and Tommy Lee floating around in and around the movie set she claimed it was for the kids but never were her kids seen there when doing the movie. She was a washed up has been when she got with kid rock then her name became relevant again. She is rarely heard about now except when she removes her implants. Also he ALWAYS kept his son out of the paparazzis shot when he was young but as soon as she got involved his son couldn't even play teeball without paparazzi being there. There were speculations she was dropping a dime but never was proven.
