Always good to see folks come to Louisiana, I’m from NE and we call those little rivers in the woods brooks. Snakes and alligators everywhere 🤣 I hope to sign up as a 91B soon and ask to be stationed in Fort Polk or Jefferson now with the name change soon. About 3 hours from where I live, but I’m not sure if I’m gonna have to do the jrtc or not. Kinda would be cool to get the experience. I’m still not sure if I can attend basic training there but I’ll find out soon. Ps. After years of farm equipment maintenance etc, seeing you check those connections first is a good move. 99% of the time when someone tells me they can’t start a vehicle I have to tighten their battery terminals 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’ve seen a few dummies not release the brakes like that on big rigs, or not wait long enough for the air to build up and stall out trying to take off 🤣 hoping to bring some common sense to the army. You mentioned early morning jumping and only my work homies that were in jail said that 🤣 subscribing bro Edit (the integra CLEAN)

If depression was a place, it would be Fort Polk South. Was there in July/August last year. I was hating life. zero training value for what we were tasked with. If I saw you out in the field, I would immediately ask you to line me up bro. haha

They both suck but if I can only base it off the showers then I’d rather go to JRTC. At least their showers are in a trailer with warm water. NTC is a jail shower with no privacy! You’re literally washing up next to someone with no curtains and the water is cold asf at least for the men. The female showers have warm water. JRTC does have some nasty bugs though especially mosquitoes so yeah there’s that. Yo just have to pick your poison tbh
