And even if they didnt hack the cloud footage while he was alive, guess who responds first to the scene and gathers evidence? They coulda hacked his email and passwords post mortem, discovered the cloud files and deleted them before the public even gets wind of it.

Even if he had more safety measures, I highly doubt that would've prevented anything. They weren't gonna stop until they got him. If they can get away with whole crimes while being recorded on camera and get no jail time, nothing but a paid leave, then im sure this was nothing to them. Rip John. I think the people who were scouting his house were doing so to find out if he had a cloud server were it went to and while they were in the house “tampering” they probably discovered that it was being uploaded to a cloud server and hacked it, so after the murder they could have destroyed the cloud files. I think that’s why they kept surveilling his home. I believe he DID have a cloud server and they needed to hack it before they killed him. Once it was done, they did the deed and destroyed the remaining physical evidence.
