There could be entrances to caves JUST big enough for someone to fall into with one wrong step that are almost never found, and something as simple as overnight snowfall, an overgrown bush, or rocks shifting can seal up just as quickly.

I’m not one to jump to aliens - but this is triggering specific details that have been reported in alien abduction stories. The first two stories both involved a tent that was damaged specifically at the top in the same exact way, everything neatly packed and unmoved, even zipped closed and even food untouched by wildlife. All three involve animals refusing to go into certain areas. Look, everyone can believe what they want, but when animals (who btw have better senses than we do) refuse to go into particular spaces, for reasons beyond our senses- it’s probably best to pay attention. It’s the animals reactions for me with all of these.

I think he just fell into something , or got stuck somewhere and never got out . A bear would eat his food , an attacker would prob take his food or some of his other supplies. If he killed himself , he prob wouldn’t have taken much food cause he was planning to die anyways and it would just be a waste to bring that if ur planning to die a couple days later
