My near death experience came 12 years ago from a rare allergic reaction to medication, specifically Bactrim. During the experience, I was burning from the inside out. My skin began to slide off, I had blisters all over my body, and it just kept getting worse. I'd went to the hospital 3 times, and they all told me nothing was wrong. This went on for 6 weeks. Now, 12 years later, I still have that allergic reaction to medication, and I can't go near sulfa drugs or fillers permanently.

For people drinking bat blood, the risk of getting rabies is low because the virus is most prevalent in saliva and tissue like the brain, not other bodily fluids.

Just like Cee I almost drowned when I went to the beach with my cousin family, and forced to go into the water when I told them I couldn’t swim. Wasn’t ready for the wave and I got swept under and had to crawl out by myself. Imagine eyes closed, trying to hold my breath, felling the water and sand between my fingers as I crawled only thinking about surviving. When I came out people were just looking at me and I was coughing up water. Never again😢

Same thing happened to me but in a lake full of gators and leeches. I was just bouncing on the lake floor and slipped into a hole that was about a foot too deep for my height.

So the fisherman survived the ocean thx to Sea turtles? Holy sh*t, the pirates of the caribbean were right. Turtles are just life savings. Their sacrifice will not be in vein. And the fisherman wont ever touch the ocean ever again so it paid off.

Re: the desert story. Even without physical landmarks any more, surely he could use the sky to navigate right? Like, when we was running I assume it was like, in a straight line, so you'd know where the sun was in relation to you, i.e is the sun behind you when you're running, meaning you're going east. So like, if he had a compass surely he could have oriented himself that way? 'I was running [direction] so use compass to point myself in that direction and keep going that way' idk how these desert races work but, if you HAVE a compass just, try to remember the direction you were going in and use that to get going again, right? it would be better than wandering aimlessly I would think.

I used to walk home from school with a group of kids iand we had to cross a really busy street. This street led from the mall to the highway so we would have to run across and I tripped over one of the other people's feet and fell in the middle of the street. And I swear I could NOT get up. It felt like I was getting held down. I look up and a big semi is coming. So I started crawling across the street, my life is flashing in front of my eyes. I'm literally expecting to get squished. The semi is honking and I don't know how but I get to the curb right as the semi speeds past

A compass would still tell you the right direction ?
