🙋🏻‍♀️ this is me raising my hands at y’all your who else questions. I recently stored away all but 10 outfits for my 3 and 6 year olds. Best decision ever! I already had some air tight bags and just stored all the other clothes (too big, off season) in them in the bottom of the closet. Those bags are easier for them to move out of their way and harder to open. They play in the closest too!

Aw all the little clothes are so cute! Claire gets a ton of clothes as gifts too and I always feel so guilty when she doesn't wear them much before she outgrows them because there's so many 😥I get super overwhelmed by organizing, I can't take everything out at once either!

@@astraviil3043 I’ve never heard anyone who misses anything from their childhood & most people are burdened with the things thier parents “save” and guess what they do once they are adults? Throw them out. My kids LOVE for things to be neat & orderly, I can tell they are much happier with clean spaces & I never throw away anything they are enjoying and playing with, but they play with less than 10% of what they do have. Most children love to play with boxes and junk more than toys. Thank you for watching but my children have plenty, honestly have wayyyy more than they even need :)

As I have stated before, if you want to keep many things because you like them - go ahead, but I will not being doing that as my value is in experiences & a peaceful home, not junky toys from my childhood. I don’t have anything except a small blanket from my childhood & that’s nice to have & I plan to pass it down to my kids, but I would not be upset if I lost it, as it doesn’t really even mean very much to me 🤷🏻‍♀️ We can agree to disagree. Since you keep re-posting… I’m a professional organizer and no kids do not want stuff !!! I love working with kids and they get rid of far far more when I let them make the decision and if I tell them we’re sharing with needy kids they get rid of even more and no adult wants garbage

I’m a professional organizer and I love working with children and when I let them make the decision they actually get rid of far more… Especially if I tell them we’re going to share it with a needy child

When in reality they are so much happier with a clean and tidy space - they feel so much more peace & it breeds so much more creativity in them than all the toys in the world could ever do!
