@akselheimbach71374 жыл бұрын
very true
@CONEHEADDK3 жыл бұрын
70% - depends on where you fish, but yeah - even on tv and some "pros" make strange decissions when trying to land a fish for them selves or a friend - that they will loose, if he/she fxxks up a good fish, because they didn't syncronize anything at all before the deed...

Could not be a more accurate video of fishing with two boys. Very happy this wasn't edited to seem like some story book, scripted video. The frustration is what really makes it all worth it. This is real, and this is awesome.

What an awesome video. Your kids release the fish better than some of these KZbinrs that act like they’ve never caught fish before. This was the most entertaining fly fishing video of the year! Your kids comments LOL “I’m a huge spin fisherman” and Throw Rocks!! Loved it!

I taught kids for a short time, and the most important thing I tried to teach them was, NO FLY FISHING without eye protection - at all.!!!!! Nice to see, that you don't seem to let them do it either.. After watching the rest of the video - thumbs up for your way of interacting with the kids - many grown ups dominate the fun out of what ever the are trying to teach and "sell" to them. When I "was a teacher", I used to ask the kid, what fish he/she wanted to catch, and then told them to pick a fly in a book, that was designed for that fish, and then guide and show them (never tied on their fly - so the finnished fly was 100% their choice and work) through the whole first fly of their lives. And I never ended up with one of them tieing a fly, that wasn't actually "flawless". If you explain well enough, their eger brains and small fingers can do "anything" you can. I actually miss "my kids" right now.. B)

That's super cool that you can share this passion with your offspring, and I'm sure it's going to carry on into a lifetime of appreciation for the outdoors and fond memories for them. Being responsible for raising a human being doesn't interest me in the least lol, but I've taught a couple of my friend's and family member's kids how to fish, and it's incredibly rewarding when they do the thing. 10/10 content, bro!
