Kids for Kidnapping is a young brother and sister’s journey into a dark and seedy adult world.
Written and directed by Torrance Maurer and co-written, produced and edited by Justin Zimmerman. The director of photography is Tory's fellow UCLA alum Paul De Lumen. Paul's previous work includes Southern District, which won the World Cinema Directing Award (Dramatic) at the Sundance Film Festival. UCLA peers Allyson Schwarz and Margaret Tran are the producers. Other notable crew members are casting director Jennifer Goldstein (Mysterious Skin), production sound mixer John Taylor (Saw), dialogue editor Robert Troy (2012, Smurfs) and re-recording mixer Patrick Donahue (Murderball, Bowling for Columbine). The majority of the film was shot on location in South Central Los Angeles and was captured with the RED ONE Camera.
