I noticed that. One kid is always more dominant and they say their negative opinion first. Then the other kid just agrees and doesn't even taste the thing. I wonder if you could use this phenomenon- get a kid with more adventurous taste to influence a shyer kid to try more things and like more things? Kids are instinctively picky eaters. It's probably nature's way of keeping them from poisoning themselves eating random berries or mushrooms, lol. And they learn what is "safe" to eat or "unsafe" pretty early in life, and some of their aversions get locked in. So the key is exposing them to diverse foods early. Like really early. Don't make the mistake of feeding your kids bananas and dinosaur nuggets for the first 3 or 4 years, and then trying to get them to eat sushi, lol. It's often too late by then!

It's not hard to learn how to use chopsticks, I knew how to use them when I was 5, was I good? No, but it didn't take long for me to learn, it just takes practice :) Whenever I get the chance I grab two pencils or actual chopsticks and practice
