RetroMoments going to thrift shops in any city usually don't yield strong results. Go to the suburbs, much more crazy finds. Yes PC games :) Great video Jim stay safe.
@XSpImmaLion5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jim, awesome video as always! Do be safe during the typhoon... scary shit dat. :P I've also been meaning to tell this for a while now, but since you mentioned you are worried about copyright strikes of Hard Off music, I think you might also be careful of the intro bits, the music and the ad stuff... not totally sure how KZbin cover those, but given how overzealous they are becoming and how the automated system works, plus how particularly litigious some japanese companies can be, I'm just hoping you don't get a bunch of your videos taken down in one fell swoop because of those parts. This tends to spring up out of nowhere when channels get bigger, which I hope your does! xD By law you can always argue that all of those are used under fair use, but you know how it goes... fair use, afaik, is not a thing in Japan, and it's mostly a grey area in the US and other countries, plus KZbin itself does not seem to respect fair use much, specially their automated detection algorithms. The safe thing to do is just use only stuff that you are capturing yourself, and fill the rest with KZbin provided royalty free music. It's very limiting, but just how it goes.
@MadPanicGaming5 жыл бұрын
I've won every fair use claim I've ever made, I'm not really too worried about the commercials and audio clips I use, pretty sure that's not at the top of anybody's list of things to crack down on, at least I hope not. Anyway, I think I'll be OK, the music I use (when it isn't game music) is usually copyright free stuff, lofi hip hop beats and synth wave stuff.
@XSpImmaLion5 жыл бұрын
@@MadPanicGaming Glad to hear it, it's fine then! xD Just that you hear these horror stories about copyright claim abuse on KZbin every now and then that makes you kinda scared for the channels you follow...
