Why is Jeff Groton never given credit for the Bs transformation? Sure, he was only an interim manager for about 4 months but it was him who signed Chara and Savard, drafted Lucic and Marchand, and traded for Rask. Yet all we hear is how Chiarelli "built" this team.. If anything, he dismantled it, while decent at drafting, he could never handle the cap.
