Okay I’ve actually read this book and the “twist” in the book is so horrifying and messed up, I was thankful they changed it to the “it was a bet” trope for the movie. Was the movie bad? Yes. Will I watch all installments. Also yes.

However, there were terms to the bet. His friends said that he had to have “proof.” So after they did the thing, he offered to “wash her sheets,” but he actually just put them in his trunk to SHOW TO HIS FRIENDS

The issue with all of this is that it’s a book and like most movies made from books they miss sooooo much plot!! I swear the books aren’t as atrocious. Some of it is, but not all of it. The movie was pretty bad and the other ones are even worse. The sex scenes in the book are way better 😂 but Hardin is hella toxic the whole time though imo
