How many people on here know Keifer didn't have a good relationship with his father and many years ago he spoke about it. Also, I can't help but notice Keifer is the only one of them that looks like dad. The others not even close.

Donald's four sons have all been named after directors whom Sutherland has worked with: Kiefer is named after American-born director and writer Warren Kiefer, who, under the assumed name of Lorenzo Sabatini,[30] directed Sutherland in his first feature film, the Italian low-budget horror film Il castello dei morti vivi (Castle of the Living Dead); Roeg is named after director Nicolas Roeg; Rossif is named after French director Frédéric Rossif; and Angus Redford has his middle name after Robert Redford.

Rossif looks nothing like his father, where as Kiefer is a spitting image of him!

That's because Rossif and Kiefer have different mothers. Rossif's mother is a French Canadian actress name Francine Racette so they are half brothers. But Keifer has a twin sister name Rachel Sutherland and they were born in London England but were raised in Canada like Keifer had said. Rossif also has brother name Angus Sutherland another actor in the Sutherland family and they have the same mother and father. Keifer and his twin sister Rachel Sutherland mother is Shirley Douglas a Canadian actress herself from Saskatchewan whose father was once the Premier of Saskatchewan. As for Donald Sutherland the father of the children he himself was born and raised in Saint John NB. Donald Sutherland's kids were born in three different countries Keifer and Rachel the oldest in London, England, Rossif in Vancouver, Canada and Angus Sutherland in L.A America.

yea, um, I think she was referring to how Kiefer looks more like his dad than any of his siblings, be they full or half blooded, I think she was already aware of the fact they had different mothers despite your long winded reply.

I totally disagree - I don't think either of them look much like him. 😆 But there are some features that you can see from certain angles that Kiefer has in common. That's about as much as I can say. He looks very boyish and has a rounder face, things I cannot say about Donald (though I do love his face even more).

Scobie Whitebeans his mother is French Canadian and he does have a weird accent. When he speaks French (he’s perfectly fluent) he doesn’t sound quebecer ...he sounds more like French

L’idée de devenir un acteur, peu importe à quel point j’ai grandi dans cet univers, je n’en suis pas tombé amoureux mais mon père était celui qui a insisté. AVEZ-VOUS DES PROJETS POUR TRAVAILLER AVEC VOTRE FRERE ? K : Ce n’est pas quelque chose à laquelle j’ai vraiment déjà pensé. C’est quelque chose que j’aimerais beaucoup faire. Son frère veut être roi et il dit “je serai Roi » et mon père dit « Je serai Reine ». K : Je me souviens de la réplique qui m’a fait le plus peur, quand il a fait le remarke de « The Invasion of the Body Snatchers » et le cri tout à la fin. Je ne m’y attendais pas et je ne suis pas très bon pour regarder un film d’horreur de toute façon donc le cri m’a fait tellement peur que j’avais encore du popcorn et une boisson et les deux se sont retrouvés en l’air. Intervieweuse : Est-ce que vous seriez partant pour refaire le cri ? K : Non. Intervieweuse : C’était trop emblématique. K : Oui. EXTRAIT DU FILM TOURNE AVEC SON PERE K : Je pense que je n’ai jamais été aussi nerveux de tourner un film et je lui ai avoué le soir avant de commencer à tourner. Et il m’a avoué la même chose. Et nous étions responsables pour les deux personnages dans le film mais nous devions également être sûrs que ce n’était pas à propos de lui et moi mais de jouer l’histoire. Et parfois, c’était un challenge. Et je pense que c’était la plus longue période durant laquelle j’ai pu passé du temps avec mon père depuis que j’étais un enfant. Depuis que j’avais 3 ans. Donc rien que pour ça, ça valait la peine pour moi.
