Ive got horse racing data going back to 2014 and a quick check from 773,174 races produces 85,166 races where the minimum in play price was 1.01 for a given horse and from this 1,060 horses then lost. So using £100 and 2% commission you would have staked £85,166 and won £103,880 so a net profit of £18,714. As others have said though there is laying at 1.01 and getting *matched* at 1.01.

Another fascinating vid Kie, been paid today, so will be patreoning later. 1) i also was confused as to why there was all this money at 1.01. -Now i know. 2) I have been looking at how i can get Automation going, so will be very interested in viewing your vid. 3) You might want to mention that some of the tools you use on BetAngel (such as Soccer Mystic) are only available on BA Pro, and are not on BA Trader which most people (i believe) use (like me !). 1 situation that happened this week was Empoli v Napoli where Napoli were 2 up with 8 mins left, and Empoli ended up winning 3-2 - i wonder what the odds were then? If u do a 1/1 odds and some football bets that are low odds 1/2-1/3 max u can make a lot more but only bet on matches where it’s a good team vs a terrible team and the good teams at home

I believe that in Gambling and Trading and any Investment there must be a percentage of risk, which is the main line when you get introduced to Economy. However I have my strategy and I have my statistics, in life I've won good money rom Gambling when I needed and many other times I've lost. I wouldn't lie saying that it's very achievable to get every week day an average odd of 1.05 on investment and close to 1.15 over the weekend. Most of games don't finish 0-0

Theres someone on the horse racing markets that lays £5000 at 1.06, that every race.... thats £300 in losses every race. So they have to win at least on one occasion per day

The data is accurate but the problem is queue position. A lot of those horses that did get matched at 1.01 and went onto lose, never got all the money at 1.01 taken, so some got taken (probably over £100 for it to be verified as being matched at 1.01) but then got beat and so drifted. So even though all those horses got MATCHED at 1.01 it doesn't mean YOU would be matched. Obviously every horse that wins you would be matched because the 1.01 ends up on the lay (offer) side so any money waiting got matched, but in the case of the ones losing, for some proportion of those the money didn't all get taken on the back-side which means some was left on the table so if you didn't get near enough the front of the 'queue' you'd not have been matched. That is the problem with this strategy. Also you need a lot of money because you have to be putting the order on every horse in every race. And then be prepared for variance. You'd have to try tens of thousands of races before you'd know what sort of percentage profit one might expect.

I broadly agree with what you are saying here. This is why getting to the front of the queue is the most important thing. I have only tried this on football markets so far, but I have been placing the bets at 1.01 up to 2 weeks before the game is played to be as close to the front of the queue as possible. I am currently doing it on thousands of football markets to see how well the strategy does (so far its still profitable), but like with any strategy, I am still using small stakes before I am confident to stake up.

@@KieMillett I do take back that it takes a lot of money to do this though because you can do it on every horse in a horse race and it only takes from your balance the amount you would lose if any ONE horse wins so it doesn't take the amount for each horse because there can only be one outcome so that is something I didn't understand when I wrote the comment.

Update on my progress after 10000 matched bets for what it's worth including a dreadful 613 losing streak. I did try to scale up my bets starting with £10 and rising to £20 bets. The 613 bad run unfortunately occurred whilst I was using £17 stakes which made the deficit so much worse. I have now settled on £13.49 stakes for 13p liability for a usual return of £13.22 (after BF 2% commission). I'll keep going until my BA subscription runs out. Matched Bets 10023 Wins 106 Average win/bet £0.003 Average games per hit 96.34 TOTAL PROFIT £29.88 Is it worth doing? Probably not but it does make me smile when one goes in

Peter Web that owns Betangel is saying 1.01 is a bit broken (I think). It's happening too much. IE, the 'true odds' are probably more like 1.001 sometimes but it doesn't go that low. So the value is probably somewhere between those two odds. IE, good video.

@@astfantasy Yes. People do that. Just got to try to only do it if you think they are going to take it when its value for you rather than only value for them. Unless its just a hedge of course. Keep in mind too that it could be skipped as sometimes it jumps. Especially in play.

Really interesting content and as with everything in life nothing is guaranteed, when investing on the stock market it is all about long term strategy but there will always be crashes so inevitably with your strategy you will have some bad blips but if overall you can make money then fair play, after all, that is how bookmakers ultimately make theirs, look at roulette as an example, it is just the inclusion of the green zero that ultimately tips the odds in favour of the house, the longer you bet will ultimately result in your loss. Odds against ratio percentages as you have discovered here will hopefully mean that you can make money long term so good luck with this

Mate, you must really hate full stops 😂...nah just messing with you. Very true though, I've found that there is value in the market for this sort of thing. I remember a couple years back, they had wolves to beat man city away at odds of 21! I couldn't believe it because wolves were high-flying at the time and had nearly beating city in the previous fixture. I took the bet and was a very happy lad. The odds definitely have some very undervalued ties at times.

I watched your video yesterday, and thought I would give it a go just to see. I layed every horse at every meeting yesterday in the UK at 1.01 for £1/£0.01 10/06/22. I had a winner. Imperial Joe - 19.26@Newton Abbot. I think there were approx 45 meetings yesterday, I cant recall. I have done the same for today, layed every horse at every meeting 1.01. 63 meetings today in the UK. I hope to continue my luck. You can't automate using Bet365 as far as I'm aware. I'm using Bet Angel which works through Betfair exchange. There's no cost for operation in each bet, except your stake of course.

What I would say is that a lot of 1.01 losers are only matched to very small amounts. That means that working out profits based on the percentage of 1.01's that lose is irrelevant. You need to look at 1.01's that are matched to big money,

Meaning even if it's profitable on paper unless you get high enough in the queue it might not be profitable in practice.

@@elastronaute1198 yeah that is a different thing and definetely correct, what i dont know about exchange becuse i have no access to them from Greece, so i only play on some normal Greek sports betting with 5% rake, and Poker, so at the exchange when he does the thing he did, at 1.01. It is in the choise of someone else to buy it at this price, for example can theoretically someone buy Under 2.5 goals at 1.01 even if the game is 1-1 at the first 5 minutes? or is there a specific time that the odds go to 1.01 and only then they can match it.

Interesting. One thing I might say is, if a race is a close finish with a few horse, your chances of making a 1.01 lay win would likely be higher than if its a race where a horse pulls away towards the line. (this would assume u get a swing matched and taking advantage of decent value). Maybe shorter distance races might be a an interesting idea? Of course with software like Bet angel, you could make a bot, to place under certain circumstance. But then, you look lie you are smart enough to know what you are investigating !

I placed the bets all at the same time, however a £10 lay bet equals a 10p stake, therefore 500 of these bets equals a total stake of 500. In addition to that a majority of these bets never get matched. Hope this clears a few things up for you!

I think they do a 2 week trial for free too, so you could make the money to pay for the software. I have around 20 Automated profiles now for certain sports. Also you can have it in simulation mode meaning you can test out stratergies before actually backing / laying anything.

There is a difference the bookie he use works the same way the stockmarket does...its not a normal sportsbook where there is no value. When a bet goes down the opposite goes up and sometimes you can find value when the bet comes to a certain point. Imagine you have coin. In a coinflip there is 50% chance of winning on both sides. in decimal odds thats 2.00 - 2.00 Sometimes it happens that a bookie will give you 2.1 for 50% chance which mean you have a valuebet because that must means that the opposite side have a value of 1.9...so in a 1000 coinflip you will mathematically end up with a profit.
