Dude these two are so in love. Matson was at a party, filled with powerful people, and he was playing an app game on his phone at an empty table, then comes Roman, this guy connected to everyone, the kind of guy who Matson wished he could have been chums with when he was younger instead of making his fortune. Matson came to that "money cant be class, or status" cross roads, and he finds Roman, some one born into it who is super anxious to impress him. He felt like a nerd at the party, but because of who he is in the board room Roman is actually sucking up to him and then With Roman, he has always worried he was more of a socialite than a business man, but through Matson he can use his social skills to prove his business acumen to his father plus they both have that weird sense of humor of laugh about pissing on a phone With Roman, Matson feels accepted and has some one he can really pal around with, and With Matson, Roman can finally feel like the man his father wanted him to be, without having to change at all

@@BatmanHQYT well, I've been wrong before. the pissing on the phone thing was an interesting move, Matson was trying to belittle the Roys, but Roman popped the question about the deal when matsson had his hand on his cock, so I guess if you deface yourself, and make it kind of sexual, you can always manipulated it to having them by the balls because of the vulnerability of sexuality despite him introducing the sexuality by belittling himself. also by introducing the idea of peeing on something, Roman is fishing to see if he has any fetishes, like pissing on things, which Roman might share. I dont remember that look Logan gave matson 🤔, but I thought in that scene, Logan sensed the connection between Roman and Matson, and sent Roman away for the "let the adults talk" because it would make Roman insecure and would make him want to prove himself more, and this way he can withhold a bargaining chip from Matson while it looked like he was complimenting him by having be the two of them alone. before the negotiations Matson said something along the lines of liking roman and wanting to tread lightly because of that, and Roman smiled, I think grasping what he meant, But that is what a Sociopath would say.

I think that was more of a foreshadowing moment for how Lukas and Roman's relationship would turn out... But I also think you're simultaneously correct. My reasoning is 1. Logan tells Roman that Lukas "rates him". 2. He hugs Rome immediately in Sweden but hesitates with Ken and shiv. 3. "Easy brother" he tells Rome this before he explodes on the mountain. 4. His eyes are watery afterwards, clearly emotionally affected by it.

I think you're just perceiving his social awkwardness as him having a lack of respect of Rome, but Lukas it just awkward, Ken points that out when they were at his birthday party. Also in the latest episode, I do think it's an interesting parallel of "projection" when Lukas calls ebba socially awkward, and Tom calls shiv a tough b* that'll survive, and shiv calls Tom a snake, when in fact she's the most snake like character as of late, I think when Lukas called ebba socially awkward he was also projecting.....And that's a key reason why he respected Rome so much, his charm and charisma and total lack of awkwardness.
