This just kills me, its pretty easy - if you manage not to ruin any of the bolts. The first 6 I took out were no problem, used the hex key provided with minimal torque to get it out. The first sleeve was removed and new one installed no problemo, really quite straightforward. Then the next five on the other PU sleeve were just as easy - reasonably tight, but removable with an allen key they provided. But then... the last bolt has been my nightmare for days. As soon as I started to turn the hex key, it was obvious this bolt was both stripped (as in what was supposed to be a hexagon was now a circle), and wildly over tightened. I've tried using various bolt extractors (to no avail, they just pull out shavings as they eat through the bolt - it's THAT over tightened), and now I've tried using sodder to fill in the widening round hole where a hexagon used to be and MAYBE get some grip: nope. I rip out all the sodder before getting the rotation I need to remove this ONE GODDAM BOLT that's attaching my old PU sleeve to my hub motor. It just doesn't seem possible. Some asshole at the meepo factory thought he'd fuck over the customer by doing like the car garage guys do and use their pneumatic gun or whatever to tighten this one bolt WAY beyond what's reasonable. But even worse, he stripped the cheap ass bolt as well. So now I'm struggling to see how I can get this effing sleeve off without ruining the motor. Some real bullshit tbh, making me wish to god I had just built my own electric longboard.

Are the Hub Shells with the PU on it Removable on these type of Hub Motors? Want to replace the worn PU tires but would rather just change the Hub Motor Shell as oppose to the Whole Hub Motor. Is it possible on these exact design hub motors?

What I did was use a vice grip to grip the hex key, and then put weight to hold down the opposite end of the truck. With some force, using this method, I was able to get all four off.

Kieran you sell hub drive motors, but are you going to cater to the other customers that want belt drive systems? Alibaba.com sells a cloned eboard just like yours but in a dual belt drive variant!! 2 in one as well, all terrain(off road wheels) and street wheel setup!!! I think you need to change it up alot and attack the entire electric skateboard market!!! I'd be your first buyer for sure!!!
