can you also do a video for accessories all grapplers should do? i love this series. i often get lost when designing my personal program and it comes to accessory exercises because there are so many options but limited time. which ones do we really need as jiujitsu practitioners? hip abduction adduction? shoulder accessories? if so, which ones? targeted core exercises? neck accessories? so many choices its enough to paralyze anyone!

Hello Kieren, this is a quality video, great content! I am into weights for over 40 years, but i learned quite a few things! Especially in the legs-video. Keep it up and all the best ! Greetings from Belgium, Guy 🇧🇪

Love this Kieran!! Great leg exercises. I do a modified version of PPL. My push days include quads. My pull days include hams. Leg days are higher reps. I do my Zercher squats with either bench or shoulder press alternating each week. My pull I do trap bar DLs or RDLs with rows and pulldowns/pullups. Leg day for bridges and Bulgarians :). Great 3 part series. Thumbs up for me for those that need a base for BJJ strength!

Hell yeah! This is an awesome split and it’s given me some ideas 🤔 I do like including deadlift on my pull days too so I like the split

I like hitting zercher Bulgarians and zercher Cossacks as some combination variations. I feel like the zercher Bulgarian especially is super "functional" to grappling. And then I still get to hit my heavy backs squats first before moving onto the zercher Bulgarians, hit 185 for my work sets yesterday and they are damn hard.

Any quick tips for going for deep squats? I can do parallel squats just fine but deep squats with any kind of weight feel uncomfortable for my knee tendons it feels like bad pain rather than good pain if that makes sense.
@magnus263Ай бұрын
Go paralel, but work your chinese squat 5min everyday and use Bodyweight squat together with Harmstring curls for your warm up

What's the barbell glute bridge alternative?
@KierenLefevreАй бұрын
@@gxvault4166 you can do a bodyweight variation or better yet a single-leg bodyweight variation (just off the floor is fine if you don’t have a bench)
