Keep in mind: Alan Holdsworth, was playing exclusively headless guitars for the later part of his career. That pretty much ends every argument about "headless guitars are toys". Kiesel still produces and sells his headless signature model btw. and that´s how they got so much technical know how,in designing headless models, because they worked very closely with Holdsworth. (For example, they designed the headless tremolo system with Hipshot, after feedback that they got from him.)

I own a Kiesel Osiris and I love it

I tried one in the showroom in CA and it was absolutely one of the best playing and sounding guitars I have ever held. Severe remorse that I couldn't walk out with it. Balance was amazing.

I wasn’t super into headless, but I also have a minor but notable back issue with my middle spine, so I almost need to watch the weight of guitars now…I took a chance on a headless Zeus 7 string multiscale and I’m in love lol it’s the most fun and comfortable guitar I’ve ever played. About to order a headless Delos 6 string and another Zeus but 6 string. Can’t wait!

I suggested you try the Holdsworths in the pickup comparison videos where people were advocating for the Berylliums. I knew you would like them. I am ordering an O6 this week with Holdsworths. I became a fan of his pickups after I bought my Ibanez AH-10. Enjoy!

The ergonomics of a .strandberg* won me over. It's an incredible guitar. The fanned frets really work in the sense of it not being a gimmick. Well worth checking out.

I own 2 Kiesels but I really dislike headless guitars. Of course, it's personal preference. It sounds great, but I have to LOVE the looks of a guitar. Kevin O'Rourke

I think headless look awesome. The headstock is just something to break. Plus the headless system for attaching the strings looks much more efficient and strong than using a headstock.

How is the neck on this? Thin, or Medium?

this model has 2 disadvantages in my eyes: it does not come with the tremolo version bridge, and the jack phone should not be on the side of the guitar, it always should be mounted on the top like a Strat. And you do not break the cable when seated, and u have more options in ur lap to hold it.

You can have a tremolo on this guitar.

Wood has zero to do with tone on an electric guitar, especially when pickups are wired into a strat like pickguard

@@bobboberts5183 he is right. Watch the video jim lill made to this topic. Wood doesn't matter at all and if it does it's maybe 0.01% so you don't notice any difference

@@uroboric and even then, most listeners won't care about the specifics, and your tone is gonna be changed in production and mixing anyways
