Thanks for the review. I've been looking at the Osiris series and fell in love with various designs, ergonomics etc. I'm partial to headless guitars and would like an upgrade from what I'm using now

Hard to go wrong with an Osiris. I play it daily! 🤘🏼🔥🍻

I had mine built in 2018, I ended up putting a tremelo no on it, and it is way more stable than any other guitar I have had.

You saved my life man, I thought I was going crazy trying to get my Zeus stay tuned..Now I understand... Still it's weird that this happens never experienced it on any other guitar.

Yea it’s such a floaty trem but I still like it. 🍻

I'm thinking about a second hand Osiris with fishman fluency Tosin Abasi pickups and you vid really helps with this decision. Very thorough review. Thanks.

Very nice looking guitar. I am currently in the Kiesel market as I am on a budget.

Cool video (and guitar!) I got a Keisel Zeus build recently and noticed tuning instability you covered. I also found my palm resting on the bridge (which is pretty tall) messing with the tuning as well. My solution was the Tremmory. You can't flutter with it but it solves the other problems perfectly.

Ok so this Tremmory looks like an amazing add on I must try! Thanks!!🤘💥

Questions: Did what are your neck specs? did you get the thinner neck profile on a 1 pc maple neck w/ tung oil finish? That was my neck spec on my evertune equipped aries and the neck moved all over the place. SENSITIVE is a great description of it's stability. I sold it because I couldn't keep it set up as well as my ESP LTD evertune equipped guitar. $1000 less and made in Korea and my ESP ltd was more reliable. Was disheartening. I've been kiesel less for a couple years now but I'm finding myself deciding between a Strandberg essential or a headless Kiesel and I have PTSD over that Aries. Probably getting a 3 pc neck. I'm not trying to be rude, but it sounds like the honeymoon phase is still going. You're having tuning issues and the it's overly sensitive to conditions..... If your tuning doesn't hold in different positions and it's not in tune better and longer than your budget guitars, something is off.

Mine holds tuning fine as long as the humidity doesn’t change greatly. One piece maple thinner.

@@alwaysandy_ Cool, this tells me everything I need to know. I'm definitely getting a 3pc neck if i'm going thinner neck profile which is my preference. I'm anal about stability and the first 2 kiesels were tanks that didn't care about humidity or tuning in playing positin vs on my bench. The Aries with a thinner 1pc maple neck was impossible to keep set up how I like. Cheers

Unstable tuning is just crazy. Have you checked everything is tight? Nut, Trem, any bolts or screws?
@alwaysandy_ Жыл бұрын
Yea I’ve been playing playing trem guitars for 30+ years. It’s not unstable, it’s sensitive.

I bought a guitar recently from them and they totally shit the bed with my build and I sent it back and got a full refund. Total subpar quality control. Laundry list of things that were wrong with it from the factory. There’s many people that have dealt with the same issue that I had. Off centered knob that wobbled. They had the pick up switch backwards. They left to Allen wrench in my case floating around so it damaged the back plate. They didn’t leave a key in the case. I chose to have a refund because of the shocking absolute lack of quality control. It got damaged in shipping (previously listed items had nothing to do with this shipping debacle) the guitar was all flat and everything buzzed but they wanted to repair everything and not give me any money back so I said screw that. I don’t want a “repaired” $3600 8 string left-handed guitar. Some people look out and get a good one. Fender has a builder now BTW… And I also went with a different company and got a BC rich left-handed eight string.

I really only have a couple issues with mine. The way the trim sits my elbow sits on, and it constantly went out of tune, so I blocked it. Also if you get regular pickups there will be no way to install active pickups due to not enough room for a battery. I think the fishman plate cover will fit.
@alwaysandy_ Жыл бұрын
Yea I’m pretty glad I got the passive Kiesel pickups. I have Fluence Abasi’s in another guitar. 😮💥⚡️

Tuning that changes with angle…..I’ve never heard of this nonsense. Quite simply that shouldn’t happen
@alwaysandy_ Жыл бұрын
It’s not anything that’s noticeable while playing, but good to know while tuning.
@mwmmatt1 Жыл бұрын
It does sound crazy at first, but if you have a guitar with a floating trem, grab it, get a tuner, and hit the open G string. Then tilt the guitar so it’s facing the ground, it should go a few cents flat. It’s just gravity pulling on the trem, nothing crazy. Can even happen on hard tail guitars with less stable necks due to gravity pulling the headstock.

@@mwmmatt1 nope not on my PRS

@@Harrysound that’s pretty interesting, not one of my guitars doesn’t do this to some varying degree, tremolo or otherwise. And you can hear it pretty clearly in this video
