It's an Ash body with a Flamed Maple top.

My first Kiesel is a Type X I picked up a week ago. I was shocked at how small it was... It seemed like I was picking up a video game guitar.. A really cool one though! I was totally blown away by how comfortable it was, so I went back the next day and picked it up. Hopefully I'll be ordering a custom one soon! I'm even considering flying to the factory to check out some different features in person. 👍🏻👍🏻

OMG! I love this guitar! It's the first headless guitar I've really liked. That might have to do with I have an original 1984 V220T I bought new. I guess I'll have to start saving up and get one of these in about a year. Lol.

The only thing I'd change is the placement of the input jack higher away from the left leg, so the cable isn't in direct contact. ESP did that mod to their new Arrow guitar.

When playing on your left knee does the cable get in the way at all with the input jack where it is?

It touches your leg but not hard so I personally wouldn’t be that fussed about a right angled jack. I’ll try one though as I have a bunch.

Oh Wow!! Nothing short of stunning. If you had described that guitar shape to me, i would've had my doubts but, seeing it here in that finish, i am seriously in lust. I use the thin profile, it's awesome - not quite Ibanez thin if that's your thing, but it's an amazing playable neck and it works for me.

Left leg sitting - does it affect the tuning pegs with your leg? Also I noticed the pickup chord it resting on your leg, wondering if it would still be comfy with a right-angled pickup chord. Great video man!

I prefer them on the thinner side as I'm not a big guy & my hands although bigger (well longish fingers) than most of my friends who are my kind of size (I'm 5'9" & quite thin) but they're nothing like Steve Vai's & Paul Gilbert's hands!! @@McRocklin Hi Thomas,I will apologise in advance for sounding like an over obsessed prat (well I do suffer from O.C.D!) but it's regarding the Hipshot headless vibrato unit. Obviously they're not that common & I've got no experience with them at all.What I do know very well is the Floyd Rose,Wilkinson VS100,Fender & PRS systems oh & the Kahler. My only question is about the Hipshot headless vibrato unit is what's the basic feel of this unit? Is it in that sort of Floyd Rose meets Wilkinson vs100 ballpark or is it different again? It certainly looks like one hell of a system & I've heard great things about it!!! I'm pretty certain how to string them up & things like that,but it's just unclear too me how they compare too my 2 favourite systems the Floy Rose original & Wilkinson vs100? I would really appreciate any information about them!! Also is their a Kiesel email address where I can question the people who are in that company? Do they offer a reliable service for people who live in England? I'm aware that you're endorsed by them & I'm just a nobody!! By the way AWESOME playing & I certainly hope that when this Covid19 nightmare is over I could possibly get too jam with you!!?

@@McRocklin because it really looks like it's made for you!^^ that "blue lambo" finish or neon-blue kinda feel just resonates to your albums, musical style, the guitar's shape being more of funky than pointy, basically just keep that guitar and that'll be your identity from now on. ;) If Herman Li has the E-Gen, Miyako has that PRS-looking Dean, yours is that Kiesel Type-X! ;)
