Get the m performance exhaust it’s perfect on my 2020 M4 heritage imola red 6 psd manual. What would you recommend for 2018 M550i x drive that I just picked up? What a beast sleeper.

I just bought my dream spec F80 in Imola red 6spd as well. The M perf. exhaust is nice, but not as ballsy as a more milder exhaust like AWE, Akrapovic, or Eisenmann. I want the Eisenmann gold edition so bad, but can’t justify spending 6k for a setup I can get for 2-3k or so and just have custom carbon fiber/gold tips welded/added on. I think I might go with the AWE non-resonated track exhaust tbh, but am also keeping the Akrapovic from this vid in mind.

Not really man. If you got the tune, then yea. But if no tune, you really dont need to spend the moneys in the intercooler. Something mild like a jb+ tune will give it a bit more power, but safe, since u have the upgraded charge pipe. I got the same car, same mods, but i have the tune. I love it.

If u r not planning to.tune it means there is no worth for getting an intercooler.

I had that exact same car running a stage 2 tune. If you’re not tuning it then the aftermarket intercooler is pointless.

You should have known before straight piping your M3 that it will be loud from that moment on. I have a feeling that all these motorsport channels are pushing the electric car propaganda / agenda to think that having a muted car with 2.5 second acceleration to 60 mph is great and it's our inevitable future. Better have a car like the F80 M3 with a combustion engine, with great sound and 3+ seconds acceleration time, than a muted, boring car.
