Finally a good Brigadier demo! YT is flooded with El Capistan demos but this is probably more of a pedal for me. Thanks!
@kiesshauer9 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, Karl! Yeah that's why I went Brig actually, just because I didn't want to join the ranks of a million El Cap owners. :) even though it's awesome. .....aaand even though I do have a Timeline. :)

+Rocinia Awesome! I'm actually selling this very pedal you see right now at Pro Guitar Shop if you didn't already buy one...

Interesting, I'm based in the UK though so may not be practical!

+Rocinia true - well, give it a look if you want - just wanted you to be aware. :)

+Ryan Kiesshauer Why did you decide to sell?
@kiesshauer8 жыл бұрын
+Carey Nelson Only downsizing; I have a TimeLine, and found I've been using that alone and that it's been covering all my needs, is all. So mostly just trying to free up cash for the next purchase, you know how it is. :)

hey there ryan! just subscribe to you after this vid! awesome demo. but i just wanna ask. should i go for the strymon timeline or just the brigadier?
@kiesshauer7 жыл бұрын
Hey! Totally depends on what you're going for, man. If you're a specific fan of bucket brigade chip delay, you'd love this, cause it gives you tons of control over that specifically. However, if you could make use of more than one preset (you can buy a favorite switch from Strymon or t1m) and more than one type of delay, you can basically never go wrong with the Timeline if you don't mind saving up the money. So, as usual, it depends on your context!

I have an El Cap and a Memory Lane Jr and a Counter Point... now after watching this video - which is the best example of this pedal - I am going to have to have one.
Very nice but emulated analog delay from digital pedals still don't sound as pleasant as good analog delay like the Seymour Duncan Vapor Trails.

A real shame u can not tap the tempo to whatever bpm you want in all the modes. I see myself having to tap something live that is right on the edge of two modes and if not on the right mode will sound off... real bummer because otherwise I would'be bought it :(
@kiesshauer8 жыл бұрын
I don't know man, I've found you can pretty much get whatever you're after with it in terms of tapping!
@hyperliteBo8 жыл бұрын
+Ryan Kiesshauer Do you mean that u CAN tap for example one second when in short mode?
@kiesshauer8 жыл бұрын
+hyperliteBo Well you're right that there are limits of how slow you can go in each mode (it's the limit of each chip inside if I'm not mistaken) but I've never run into a situation where I couldn't get what I wanted just switching to another mode if that makes sense.

should i get this or a DIG?
@kiesshauer7 жыл бұрын
Well outside of both being delays, they are completely different things, haha. One is a bucket brigade memory man type pedal (Brig) and one is two delays in one box that will give you wide and galloping type sounds (Dig). Depends on what you're trying to do!
@arturoalvarez_music7 жыл бұрын
It depends. Are you into digital delays or into analog delays? Digital delays are "cleaner", but the degradation in the signal with the analog delays is charming. Trust me.
@jbarrantes987 жыл бұрын
i have already got an analog delay and the catalinbread belle epoch, though id love to get a digital delay...
