Daypack Mode with the Absaroka

Finally pulled the trigger on this pack. Waited a while to see what was coming out to pair with the ark frame, which I purchased as soon as it dropped. Excited to see what this pack can do!

Which one of your bags would be the most durable with great high capacity that can be used as a “bug out bag” as well?

looks like a great bag. I bought the reckoning for similar reasons. Its gets all my gear into the backcountry, and then compresses down for day hunting very well. Its very adaptable to whatever type of gear i need to get into it, or layout I decide. What sold me on the reckoning is the outer attachment points for pouches. I learned the hard way to ALWAYS keep my medical kit on the outside of the bag. Cut my thumb pretty bad in the backcountry with a bowsaw. Having to dig deep into the bag while bleeding is NO Bueno. But thanks to Aron with the tip about Lueko tape.....i was able to clean it up, throw a bandage and lueko tape over that and stay back there for the whole trip! Can you provide a link for that panel? I searched for it but couldnt locate it???

That compressed down a lot more than I expected it to. What’s the benefit of going with a pack like this, as opposed to say a Hellbender with a camp bag or large dry bag on the meat shelf?
