Kampala Uganda 🇺🇬 habitat for humanity , densely populated with different type of pple , foreigners be coming Ugandans , plenty of variety of foods , business 🙏 , Education wise , security but Kigali Rwanda is clean n small in size, parking yard is only one Majerwa for trucks , food gets finished before 6:00 pm , for😊 foreigners are subjected to frequent check ups , pple are very segregative n if u travel as far as Butare ,Ruhonge Kyagugo heading to Congo or Burundi, the only spoken language is Kinyarwanda , these people are always of foreign pple due to their trauma m primitivity ,any way lets pray for unity on Rwanda . thanks 🙏👍❤ .

I have had a chance to live in both cities for a very long time. Kampala is far better interms of infrastructures but very disorganised and poor roads and dirty streets. Kigali is just organised with clean streets but with the direction it is taking, with in a few years it will be far ahead of Kampala.

Uganda is more hospitable than any country in Africa,Uganda has a lot of investors with large scale industries because of fast growing economy and welcoming many people around Africa to carryout trade thus the rapid growth but rwanda is like how you see it because they are not welcoming and the growing economy is low because of low taxes earned from the country's business but from government borrowed money

It must be really strange to be rwandan.. on one side the future with the past memories... Like in Germany.. They have lived in this long before.. in politics is it even called Schuldpolitik. Schuld from German guilt... Experts say that it takes 4 generations to forget such things! :O :O Wow.. I never though of the tutsi x hutu relation so much into history! I knew a bit about the colonialists preferiatiting the tutsi... but you explained it so well!! Btw.. I was told that for that reason many teachers from Uganda came to Rwanda and the country switched to english... that is so interesting... we had similar switches in my country, but that is so long that even my grandparents don´t remember it... one interesting fact... Tanzanians also don´t speak English well, but they are so friendly... It is often so cute, when they try to talk to you, but they just cant :).. but in most countries it is truth... knowing the language makes the nation more friendly to the foreigners.. (btw. I am not saying Rwandan people were not friendly... not at all... I mean cold as reserved and afraid...) Anyways... 30 years and counting... It is really admirable how huge transformation has happen in such short period... the same in my country... we were communist until 1989 and did a complete change overnight... Now almost 40 years after, we are on the side of the rich countries... Fingers crossed for Rwanda!! 🙏🙏

Rwandanese go slow. You people all know that your economic growth is based on the Uganda's economy and you should understand that where there is no Uganda, Rwanda can't survive. By the time i was growing up between 2000-2010, I could see rwandees working as cattle keepers here in Uganda. But, as time passed they started gaining skills learning how baganda run and manage businesses so they applied that very knowledge back to their country which was good. Consider Uganda as Saudi Arabia where most african go to work to earn foreign money and bulid back home, this applies here. Even now most of rwandees run successful businesses here in Uganda and all the profits develop there country. Conclusion: It's only a poor minded person can believe that Rwanda will once be greater than Uganda don't base on City cleanliness. Rwanda is a place for rich people to live in bt Uganda is where they run there businesses. (Lagos is not the most clean city in Africa but Nigeria in considered as the giant of Africa) thank for the video.

Kampala is lively and more developed. Kigali is organized with rule of law working. Beautiful roads and pavements. Kampala is a city which is open to everyone one, you can enter and start making money right away which is not the case in Kigali. In terms of size, Kampala is bigger, forget what the Map says. People talk of genocide & forget Uganda as well went through so many years of turmoil after independence in 1962 to 1986. It depends on what you want. Kigali or Kampala, it depends on what you want. If you want a spot clean and well organized place, then Kigali is that place, small as it maybe. Kampala, for me, is by far a better place . Kampala has room for every body. With any amount of capital, you can do something in Kampala and survive. Even without anything, it is way much easier to survive in Kampala . Kampala is also a place where everyone minds his or her own business. You feel free as go about your hassle. You don't feel like walking on egg shells like it is in some neighboring country. It is not surprising that so many of the bodaboda riders ( motor bike taxis) in Kampala , for example, are not even Ugandan ! So many of them are from some neighbouring countries. They make money in Kampala and during xmas, they go and spend it in their home countries on school fees for their or kids, building homes, etc. That chaotic bodaboda is a multi-billion shilling industry where on average each rider takes home between $ 10 to $ 20 daily. The same goes for the food vendors, beer sellers, etc. They so much look like unregulated businesses, but they earn people a living. hundreds of thousands of them. Until we figure out how to transform Kampala into a better city without necessarily antagonizing people's livelihoods, the current status quo is okay. We want a better Kampala, but that Kampala must be all inclusive. It is better to have people with some money in a 'disorganized' city than to have a very 'organized' city full of people without any money.

Thanks for this great comment. I was in Kampala for like 5 months in total and l can say that Ugandans are good people and so lively. It’s very easy to survive while having best life. I was also in Rwanda and Kigali for like 4 months in total: it’s clean , organized and people are very respectful. But it’s not lively

I travel to both countries. Kigali is clean, green, smart, and organized. Kampala is rubish, beggars everywhere, noise, pollution, street vendors, a bunch of indiscipline, and hell of boda boda riders who make it even worse

Kigali has only developed for 30 years. Comparing its development with Kampala is somehow crazy. The question is, how Rwanda managed to reach this level for only 30 years?

The gdp per capita and other indicators and pretty much same with uganda… but the huge difference is the corruption… but well in fact… it makes sence.. if there is a million dollar to build roads all all goes to build them it makes it huge difference compared to when half of the money ate on bribes

Kampala might be big, but it's not more developed than Kigali. I mean, even the buildings in Kigali are some of the most expensive in Africa like Kigali Convention Center, Kigali Arena and Amahoro stadium. Plus, vision city and other projects which are on world class level. So, Kigali has better infrastructure and is more smart.
